Please learn about diacritics! In this story, you misspelt not only one, but two names for the city of Kaliningrad. The old German name is Königsberg, not "Koenigsberg". The Polish name that the Poles have been using lately is Królewiec, not "Krolewiec". Unicode has these characters (obviously, or else they wouldn't show up here). Please respect foreign spellings. In the age of Unicode, there really is no excuse for doing otherwise.

"Daniella Leis, 26, made national headlines when she crashed her car into a house at 450 Woodman Avenue, breaking a gas line that later triggered an explosion, causing damages pegged at C$13m to C$20m ($9.8m to $14.7m in USD)."
"Damages?" No, "damages" are monies awarded by a court, typically as the result of a lawsuit. What was caused in this case was "damage" (no S). The money paid to repair said damage, as ordered by a judge, is "damages".

Words using the prefix "under" do not take a hyphen! What is "under-armed, and under-trained"? That's "underarmed, and undertrained".
What is "under-armed, and under-trained" in this article ("Russian convicts recruited to fight in Ukraine were warned they'd be shot if they deserted. One who did was returned to Russia — and was killed with a sledgehammer instead.")? Will your writers please get it through their heads that there is NEVER a hyphen with the prefix "under—" (nor with "over—", come to that).

In the article "'X-ray specs': Canadian scientists starry-eyed over James Webb space telescope", you spelt Nathalie Ouellette's name wrong. Note the E in third position. I checked this out on the Internet. It is consistently spelt "Ouellette". not "Oullette".

In your article about a woman and her two dogs being killed by a lightning strike, the writer made a point in telling readers that the woman was Hispanic. What was the point of that? There is no reason that this is part of the storey. She was a woman. Period.

Accuracy/ethics in reporting
An article stated Joe Rogan made a false claim that lockdowns do not affect transmission, however, this claim was made by researchers from John Hopkins university. Do the staff at yahoo news consider this to be ethical and honest reporting? It is reminiscent of high school gossip, and honestly an embarrassment.

Would be very nice if Yahoo remembered my nation/location choice
I live in the United States, but every time I access Yahoo I have to switch my location from Yahoo Canada to the U.S. EVERY TIME!
My suggestion would be for Yahoo to remember location choices. Such as the user chooses a location, then given an option to make that choice their default location.489th ranked -

If you don't stop auto-playing every stupid video on the webpage, I will not be returning
Every freaking page I view starts playing videos as I scroll down to read the article. I SAW the freaking video at the top of the page, if I WANTED to watch it, I would have done so there, NOT as I am trying to read!
To make things worse, as I scroll down, every OTHER video I pass does the SAME thing. This is beyond annoying!!
