Fact Checking???
The article below was posted today...seriously...does no one fact check at yahoo. #1 the Azores is not an unknown secret. You guys might want to look into how many Americans identify as Azorean (I'm going to say a quarter of the Boston area). #2 The part of Europe that is closest to the USA is not the Azores...it's an island chain off the East Coast of Canada called St. Pierre and Miquelon...It is part of France.
"The Azores, Portugal
Isolated in the North Atlantic Ocean, the Azores, a Portuguese island chain unknown to most Americans, feels remote but is actually…

Why are your censor working so hard to stifle free speach? Why do you censor this comment
There is a poll on the Globe and Mails web site that asks if we would vote for Harper in the next election and the results at this time are 27% yes 67% no and 6% undecided. With these results it looks like Harper will win another majority Gment. that sound funny doesn't it that 27% = a majority but that's about how many voted for him the last time and look what that got us. There is something wrong with our democracy when 27% = a majority but that's the way it works in Canada. This will most likely…

Remove the add for 'Like Asian Women!'
I clicked on a news article only to see an add with half naked, extremely large breasted Asian woman along side the news article. Yahoo have you lost your class! Remove it! Sometimes we as parents are reading news articles with our children.

I think Mr. Andy Radia who writes for your Canadian politics section should be publicly disciplined for his latest article on David Suzuki.
Mr. Radia incorrectly stated that David Suzuki's parents weren't born in Canada - when in fact they were. More importantly, the manner in which he stated it was offensive to every Asian-Canadian. That "of course-David Suzuki's parents weren't born in Canada". Without any other reference or supporting point one can only infer that due to Suzuki's heritage he couldn't be a third-generation Canadian. This is completely offensive. Mr. Radia should at the very least apologize for this egregious error and explain what he meant by "of course".

WRONG TYPE OF VIDEO STREAMING. IMPOSSIBLE TO WATCH ANY VIDEO.
Hi, Yahoo is my front page.Yet, I cannot watch continuously any of the videos, even though I have an average 1 Mbps reception. If your video streaming server were to have dynamic contol over the transmission rate of the receiving party, which is done with Flash Adobe server (among others) , the problem would dissappear. Right now the videos are constant jibberish with stops every second and reconnection every second. Please see www.dw.de (deutsche welle). They know how to manage videos. Pleeeeeease do something. Thanks.

The mobile homepage was designed by someone truly inept.
This homepage is a joke, right? A prime example of how technology can be completely useless when in the hands of a moron.

make videos in articles "click to play", this would definitely reduce the frustration of waiting.
simply make the videos click to play, this way people don't need to wait for the commercials to pass before reading a article(which is the only reason we're here, not to watch a video). please fix this and reduce the frustration that occurs due to this.

You can improve by not printing inflammatory articles such as "How Canada's 'freedom convoy' was overtaken by a radical fringe" by Eli Sopow
I doubt very much if this author has actually be to downtown Ottawa and seen the peaceful demonstration of the truckers with their family and kids. The media likes to turn its attention on the scandalous, on what divides and on what headline grabs the most attention. These are what the author of this article is drawing from - completely skewed viewpoints. His theories may be correct, but not to this situation. He needs to go look for himself.

Do you not think that by banning comments you are stifling the ability for people to respectfully exchange comments and opinions?
Why disable comments? Set guidelines WITHOUT a political agenda and demand everyone is courteous to each other. Stifling comments will not help people discuss both sides of a story. Those that name call or are disrespectful of others should be banned...
