Australia is cool and all
Why in the world am I on the Australia finance page? I've never been to the country, I've never logged into the Aussie Yahoo.
But yet, every time I click on Finance, here I am.
I tried everything in my power to change to no avail.

Exactly the same here! Somehow my portfolio page got stuck under Australia - shows their indexes but not mine in the US. When I go to the long-bookmarked Portfolio page with US indexes it tells me 'Cannot display portfolio.' Something is screwy with Yahoo's architecture.

I have the reverse problem. I was on the Australian Yahoo finance page and suddenly my portfolio currency has switched to USD. Seems to be no way to set it back to AUD. Any ideas?

You were probably on the yahoo7 web site to begin with, plus if your isp is listed as Australia the link will take you there.
