Autoroute #540 has been replaced in the Montreal, QC area by #30. There is a new toll bridge that goes across the St. Lawrence River.

There is a new bridge crossing the St. Lawrence River going south on #30 where the old #540 used to begin at #20. #30 links up to the #30 that then runs east beyond #15, and west, too. There is a toll on the bridge.
