The newest upgrade so thoroughly screwed up the news feed I have stopped using it and downloaded Reuters. Total fail.
Give us easier way to get out of this ****** "my feed" I do not choose its content, you do, and your choices suck.

Don't return me to the homepage automatically
When I open a story but have to take a call or otherwise get distracted for a few minutes, when I go back to the yahoo app (which I never closed) it returns me to the home page. There are SO many stories I wanted to read but didn't want to have to go scroll for them again.

Go back to old format. Can't even look stuff up
Every time I try and search something all I get is pictures of the item I'm looking for. If I want to search something I have to go back to my old phone which still has original format.

Control
I have no control over what I watch on yahoo news. Last update took that away. I have favorites and I can no longer access them. Terrible update.

Too many sponsored articles that lead you to "bogus" news sites. If you want to be considered a legimate news site, knock of off the junk.
Knock of the bogus/sponsored news sites that make you click 20 million times to read an article.
