Create a product or app for an around the world, user-generated live feed of citizen news akin to Facebook live where everyone can feed their video to anyone who uses yahoo - maybe on the homepage or news vertical. Users can choose what country they want to watch the news in. Just as long as it's seamless, I think it would be cool and a great source of ad revenue. Your livetext app would have been a good medium for this minus the text, and with the addition of sound and recording capabilities of course, then stream the feed on your homepage or whatever. Seeing that a lot of people records videos on the fly because perceived injustices, then this would be a good product to air their stories.
