How can I disable the automatic video ads and pop up boxes with story notifications? If I want to be on Yahoo, I'll go there. It's disruptive and a not at all welcome intrusion.

Whenever this auto-start ad is paused, within 3 seconds the news page resets and jumps to the beginning of the page. Incredibly annoying. Put ads in a separate panel, NOT embedded in the News articles!!

My suggestion has already been echoed by several others within this suggestion forum, but I can't stress it enough that many if not most of your ads end up either just being time consuming and frustrating click-bait or worst case they can be ransomeware or suggestions to load programs that may even do worse harm. Yahoo has been lowered to a less than favorable position in my eyes, and from the look of things others as well. I want to give Yahoo the benefit of the doubt, but that has become impossible now. Change your ways to act in a much more honorable fashion towards your readers/users or you will go the way of the dinosaurs and become fully extinct. You may get paid by those ad/ransomeware companies, but that is only if we the people choose to continue looking at Yahoo pages. As for me I'm done.
