Make it less politically biased. Allow user to edit what content is on the homepage
Allow user to opt out of content and to configure content according to their taste and interest.

yahoo says they allow you to do this but they really don't. If you go to adjust your ability to hide content, they try to do something else. there is no real adjustment. they instead say they will use thing i look at to choose it for me. It says nothing about clicking the 3 dots to get rid of some genre. Nothing about me making choices myself, about seeing or hiding content.
