why are we no longer allowed to click the 3 dots to the right of the article to see lees from that news source?
I know why you won't let me see the news sources I want to see but I want to hear from the Liberals running Yahoo to explain it to me without telling me you are Communist. I'm waiting....

I'd like to hear why Yahoo removed this feature as well...

Brad Richardson commented
I am very unhappy that this feature has been removed. Is this why a far right British tabloid has taken over my news feed? This is a massive mistake and I hope you will reconsider it.

If Yahoo does not allow me to manage the news content I recieve then I will move my accounts elsewhere. Please return the three dots or I am gone.

Yahoo is a rag. The "articles" are just paid advertisement. huff post is propaganda and is just for clicks.

Paul Campbell commented
I want the Atlanta Black Star rag off my news page. They're nothing more the a racist click bait.
Bring back the ability to change your news feed -

Please add back the ability to remove news feeds. The Cool Down (TCD) keeps showing up in my feed and I don't see how to remove it. Thx.

GIve us the option to block non-news material from our newsfeeds.

Please allow me to remove articles from sources I do not typically trust as being accurate. I am pretty sure I used to be able to do this.

Some sources publish categories that do not interest me or simply act to clog my news feed. I'd like to ban those sites from my feed. If you cannot do that, it's okay. I can find another news source besides Yahoo News. Thanks.

I used to be able to limit news from specific sources but now I am not able to. I see all kind of propaganda articles from fox news and I don't read at all
from that source now and I don't have the ability to stop content from this source. Why was this feature removed? if this can not be corrected then i will stop using Yahoo news. -
Michael Miller commented
It is critical that we be allowed to control our news feed, at least to the extent that we are able to block unwanted news sources. For me it is "Field and Streams" gruesome hunting pictures. I have seen enough suffering in my life without having depictions of it crammed down my throat.

i see the arrogant left wing snowflakes at yahoo have no response to this. guess what? they don't care if you like their changes or not. they don't make money off you, they make it from ads. they have no response. as with all businesses it is all about the money. of course they do take great pride and joy in having total control over your news feeds. they are the problem. unless they take a hit from their advertisers they will do what ever they want. that is what they have always done. why would anyone expect them to change? it will never be what their customers want. it will always be about what yahoo and advertisers want. the customer be ****. either except it or find a different home page and email. don't like yahoo, then leave. that is the 'tude I have always seen from yahoo. NO ONE AT YAHOO CARES ABOUT YOUR OPINION!!!!!!

Tex Alldredge commented
I am guessing they looked at the analytics and saw that many users were blocking either content they agree with politically OR those sites give them money to use their stories and thus told yahoo to make people unable to hide their stories.
Either way it’s a pain for the users who want their news catered to their interests. I have stopped using yahoo as my main page because of it.

Bring back the 3 dots so I can decide what articles show up in my feed. I don't want to read and see pictures of a dog who has been repeatedly shot with a BB gun and other similar stories. If this continues and I don't get the freedom to decide on the stories, I'll just not login to yahoo and get my news elsewhere. Do the right thing Yahoo. Some of these stories are offensive and disgusting and traumatic.

Ironically enough I spent 15 minutes today on my phone, and now my tablet getting this point where I can say I 100% AGREE WITH the racist, white power voices here who, like me, are angry and frustrated we're obliged to waste our time with false narrative stories like are Fox News pieces, AND complete utter wastes of natural resources like Kardashian stories.
I get it, Fox insists on getting ad clicks from viewers BUT they know when readers anywhere have a choice, a Fox reported article will be avoided so THAT'S why you removed actual reader curating, but STOP IT!
Be a pioneer and bring back reader engagement by returning the story and source option switch that was a positive feature of Yahoo News. -

While I might agree politically some many of the commmenters, I agree that Yahoo needs to bring back the three dots. I for one do not want to the The Telegraph on my feed. Stop trying to force content down out throats

I do NOT want to see all these racist smear pages against republicans. Yahoo is very tipped. Let me omit the politics.

I need the 3 dots back so I can opt out of the Atlanta Black Star articles that are spamming my yahoo feed.
Also, I get way too many articles about The View. When the 3 dots come back can you add opting out of a subject?
Thanks.
Besides not wanting daily articles about The View, I long for the day no kardashian news is in my feed."

100% agree and add "Querty " to that list, that isn't news, just a bunch of BS homosexual propaganda. FU San Francisco -

Isn't there news everyone gets? How do I get THAT news? It seems the stories selected for me are overwhelmingly repugnant articles about the worst human ever, the trumpy. I am so sick of his content.

That just about sums up my question. Yahoo's politics are purely left-wing. To call them a bunch of Anarchists and Communists is only a small exaggeration. How about including the views of Fox and News Max. Maybe Breitbart? But no: Yahoo wants us all to become Socialists.
