Start putting real news in the news section.
Most articles are from liberal blogs like Daily Best, Atlantic Wire, AFP, NCC and etc. It's long past the point where I'll click on an article because it's on a subject that's interesting to me - you get too much garbage that way. It's gotten to the point where I can't find anything to read from a source that won't just print lies to push their ideology.

Stop posting Yahoo Sport Austrialia. It is nothing but over exaggeration of some basic story that makes it out to be something more than it is not. Just nauseating!

For a couple weeks now from day to day, the daily horoscopes have not been posted. Why & please do post them daily. Thank you,

Here's an apparently novel idea in your newsroom: Try sticking to the facts and leaving the opinion-filled headlines on the cutting room floor.

This article: https://uk.news.yahoo.com/vegan-drink-cow-milk-165113951.html
The article is based on an article by the Sustainable Food Trust (https://sustainablefoodtrust.org/articles/local-alternatives-to-soya-and-palm-meal-will-help-save-rainforests/), which is misleading by omission. The article makes the assertion that cow's milk is better than soya milk for the environment based only on the amount of soya beans required (which put like that sounds ridiculous). It ignores the other environmental effects of raising cows. Furthermore, it ignores the relative sources of soy: many soya milks such as alpro use EU soya beans whereas the same is not true of cow feed. Hence the rainforest loss due to soya milk is less than that of cow feed. (less importantly: it fails to mention other vegan milks which are almost all better than cow's (and as established so is soya))
The whole article is based only on that of the Sustainable Food Trust which is chaired by an cow farmer, hence clearly has a vested interest in promoting dairy - this may (or may not) cause subliminal or overt lies by omission, either way making the source somewhat biased and untrustworthy (especially without a single other source).
This article is therefore bad journalism and needs to have additional context. But it's not just this article that has this problem

I would have not known there were fires NEAR MY UNCLE in Colorado if I did not just happen to talk to him!!! Where is the news? Does Yahoo not care if Colorado is BURNING?

Please just put REAL news in the news area. All the gossip, rumor mills, entertainment, stories that are hearsay, make a separate catagory for FAUX news. Keep items like from AP, Reuters, etc. in the news area.

I don't appreciate that the first three articles were about 1) Looking up a golfer's skirt, 2) Some model's body after baby, 3) Kesha's too small bikini.
Terrible. Terrible. Terrible.
I hate this home page. It seems like a trap to me. I try to never click on anything, but go straight to my mail account. -

I'm here researching something else. Your idea is valid. I stopped using yahoo search engine and homepage because of the persistent ...just ****. Just as you said, they mimic the better known liberal rags and propagate useless entertainment news. The first thing I do on new devices is remove them from my search engine list.

I like the new format where you have several sources of the same subject, but it makes it even more confusing when you include both reputable news sources and disreputable blogs as if they are equal. I have given up hoping Yahoo will be less biased, but at least use left wing sources with some semblance of journalistic standards. Washington Post, NY Times, LA Times - Good. Huffington Post, The Hill, Salon, Mic, ThinkProgress - Disreputable Rags. If you want to present these Blogs, create a blog section.

Yes!!!!! Why are we continuously shown bogus news from questionable sources? And most of the links go to sites that are fake or have viruses. Don't even get me started on all the **** about the Kardashians and which low-life celebrity was arrested today. Why can't we pick and choose what we see on our main screen when we are logged into Yahoo? This new format doesn't allow me to close stories I don't want to see.

AFP is the absolute worst addition to yahoo news. They are pure propaganda, not news. They leave out statistics and facts to the side they are against. A perfect example is the israeli, palestinian conflict. every article I read has incendiary with fabricated stories, information that is left out, and outright lies.
