Use Depth Charts to keep managers from getting screwed by injuries and no contests.
Use all players on a managers roster by depth chart. Each week, mgr select position and number (QB1, QB2, maybe a QB3) for the week. In the event of a game injury the injured player does not return or returns but misses 2 qtrs, the next player would be subsituted in for the injured player only if the incoming player scores higher than the injured player. This has worked well since 1994 in 1 of my leagues and could is being applied to the Buf at Cin game that was cancelled.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll pass this along to our product and engineering teams.

Injury Switch - Reduce Impact of Early Game Injuries
The "Injury Switch" would be a toggleable rule that can be set by commissioners that would afford a Fantasy Manager the ability to swap out a active player with a player on their bench if, during the 1st half of the game, the active player is designated as "out". This switch could only be exercised for bench players that have not completed or started their games. Further, it can only be exercised a certain amount of times per year (once a week, 3x per year, once a year etc as options). Injuries are a part of football and we all…
Hello,
Thanks for your feedback.
Commissioners have the ability to retroactively edit a team's roster for any given game week.
You can reach out to your commissioner about this type of league rule and they can implement it to make the change using their commissioner tools.

Team Rosters - Need Grid View
When looking at the "roster" page, you have choice to look by team or position. Would like third option of grid view to see who is heavy and thin at each position. Basically a table with team names across the top and a box for each position down the left axis. Would make it easier to see who's heavy at a particular position you are looking to trade for.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll pass this along to our team.

We pay weekly high score. Allow managers to edit their rosters through out the entire NFL season, not just the fantasy season.
We pay weekly high score. Allow managers to edit their rosters through out the entire NFL season, not just the fantasy season or don't lock the commissioners ability to change rosters after the fantasy season. Wait till after NFL season.
Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for your feedback.
Managers will only be able to edit their lineups while the league is active. Once the league's playoffs have concluded, the league will officially be finished.
You would need to run your league through week 18 so managers can continue to edit their rosters.

option to set matchup rankings based on last x weeks instead of whole season
when grading matchups, allow us to toggle them based on the last x weeks. for example, if my wr is up against detroit, i want to know how detroit secondary has been performing over the last 5 weeks, not the whole season. there should be a dropdown where i can set the number of weeks to base the matchup ranking on.

Yahoo should add a RB/TE Flex Roster Position on Offense Next Year
Currently, Yahoo offers multiple types of Flex Roster Positions on Offense:
• WR/TE
• WR/RB
• WR/RB/TE
• QB/WR/RB/TE (superflex)Starting next year, it makes sense for Yahoo to include RB/TE only as a Flex roster position on offense. Please do so?
Thanks for your feedback. I'll pass that along to our product team for consideration.

Customizable roster change auto-transactions
Allow team managers to set up roster change rules (auto-transactions) to start/sit players based on status changes. Example: I have a WR who is questionable for the coming week - allow me to tag a replacement to be started if that player is ruled out for the game. You could take it as far as switching players if there is a change in their projected points, or just keep it for injury situations only.

Remove blue highlight once read
Once read, remove the blue highlight on individual player updates, to avoid reading the same updates over and over again.

Thanks for the feedback.

Combine kicker and defensive/special teams as one roster spot. This will work better for my 20 team league.

# of Bench spots allocated to specific postions (especially regarding IDP)
The idea would be to assign a specific number of bench spots for a given position group (or position). For example, Offensive players could be assigned 6 bench spots to be used only offensive players, and IDP/Defensive players are allocated with 2 bench slots. Instead of it being 8 bench slots going to any player regardless of position.
For those leagues playing with IDP, this would greatly improve the experience.
Thanks for your feedback. I will pass that along to our product team for review.

Kicker D/ST Combination Option
I would like to suggest the option for the commissioner to change the scoring format for kickers and D/ST to combine the two as the kicker is considered special teams anyway. Currently, there is no option to do this. I was commissioner of a work league and didn't find an option for this. Thanks!
Thank you for your feedback. I will pass that along to our product team for review.

When I click on a player. It shows their total points and overall rank. It should also show their rank relative to position
When I click on the player, their profile shows up with total points and overall rank. The profile page should also include their rank relative to position. For example, Ryan Succop is ranked 98th overall but how is he compared to other kickers? It would save the step of having to look up the lists and find your player.
Thank you for your feedback. I will pass that along to our product team.

If a player is ruled OUT of a game in the 1st quarter, an alternate is substituted in.
We all know how frustrating it can be if you have a player ruled out (carted off, etc.) in the first quarter of a game. Unless your team goes off that week, you are almost certain to lose. Here's my idea: if a player is ruled OUT of a game in the 1st quarter, an alternate is substituted in. Managers select one alternate each week. This could be by position if Yahoo wants it to be more complex, or it could be just one alternate in total (using Flex rules, so it is a RB, TE, or WR). If a…
Hi Troy,
Thanks for your feedback.
In Public Leagues, once a player locks into your starting lineup, they cannot be removed or swapped out for another player, even in the event of an injury.
In Private Leagues, the commissioner can use their tools to retroactively edit a team's roster. So you can reach out to your commissioner with this idea about them changing the player for your team during that game week.

Link to other player reports in player weekly breakdowns
I think it would be very helpful if, when your player's weekly recap or update refers to another player, the name of that other player was hyperlinked so that we could immediately pull up their status. For instance, on this past Sunday, the report for Josh Reynolds read "Reynolds saw additional opportunities with both Amon-Ra St. Brown and D.J. Chark out of the lineup. He can be set back to waivers if the Lions' top receivers look set to return against the Patriots in Week 5."
It would be great if we could then click on Amon-Ra St. Brown and…
Thanks for your suggestion, that's a good idea. We'll make sure it gets passed along to our product team.

Monday Night Football Roster Changes
The fact that managers are not allowed to add free agents to their roster on Monday for the MNF game is straight garbage! Injury reports don’t release until like an hour before kickoff.
C’mon Yahoo! Fix this nonsense!!!
Hi Eric,
Thanks for reaching out.
You will want to check the settings that are in place for your league.
If the league does not use waivers, to be eligible to play for the current Game Week, the player needs to be added by 11:59 p.m. PT Sunday.
If your league is using Game Time - Tuesday, then players would remain eligible as free agents until their scheduled game time has been reached.
