Travis Hunter Position Classification
Greetings, The classification of Travis Hunter, as both a WR and CB, is causing heart ache within our league. A manager had drafted him and will be playing him as a defensive player. However, it is most likely that he will be playing on the offensive side of the ball. It gives that manager that drafted him a competitive advantage where one was not intended. Draft board pop out
Make a setting so that the draft board (or any specific feature) can be popped out and open on two different windows. Would be able to watch the draft board and the player list at the same time.

Once a player is in the IR slot, he should be able to remain in the IR slot until he plays again.
Fix the IR or O to Q or D to IR or ) to Q or D to IR or O roller coaster. See Terry McLaurin, for example.
Every single week, I can't make moves until Saturday or even Sunday because the guys I have on IR are then deemed to be Q or something and I have to drop them or not make moves. Then because they are STILL HURT, I can finally make moves on the weekend once they are ONCE AGAIN deemed to be hurt. I miss out on players.

A player will be eligible to remain in the IR roster spot as long as they have 1 of the following designations: IR (Injured Reserve), NFI-R (Non-Football Injury (Reserve)), NFI-A (Non-Football Injury (Active)), O (Out), or Physically Unable to Perform (PUP).
These designations are determined by our data provider. If a player is not on the NFL IR list, their designation will reset at the beginning of each new game week until they are officially ruled out by their team for that week. A player on bye who is listed as out should remain with that designation during their bye week.

if a player is “out” one week they should not be moved to “Q” the following monday hindering ur adds or drops. They should be considered out until they are actually active

Leave Players Out Until They Are Not
I think you should leave players with the IR or O designation until they are fully active. Godwin, for example, has been a nightmare this year. You have to move him to your active roster and drop someone even though he has no chance of playing. Then we have to wait until the end of the week to add someone and we have limited choices. Same with Terry McLaurin. Neither of them are playing this week and I had to drop decent players to put them in my active roster. The first game is tonight so now I have two…

Explain to Fantasy Team Managers The "Why" a Team Name is not Used
I am in two fantasy football leagues and use the team name of "Bopah's Bastardos" as one team name. The word "Bastardo" is a Latin American/Caribbean surname as in Angel Bastardo of the Kansas City Royals.
If the word "Bastardos" is not allowed - please explain, logically, the WHY. I am tired of seeing the vanilla "A Fantasy Team" did this and that.

Add the ability to designate specific backups for injury designation week to week
For a given week, it would be nice to have the ability to designate a specific backup player to swap out for a specific starter if their status is uncertain and they end up sitting the game out. You could argue that you don't want owners putting their teams on autopilot with settings like that, but this designation could be very specific and only apply to the current week. Plus, even sportsbooks are voiding some bets if a player is injured for a game, so it seems there is precedent for this. Thanks.

For many years I've found it to be unrealistic and counter-productive in that the data seems falsely skewed, those changes that are updated seems slow throughout the season with respect to actual player values, and it doesn't adequately consider bench strength due to the inevitable injuries that always occur. Furthermore, the Yahoo "Projected Stats" for "Remaining Games" does not come close to aligning with true player values in accordance with other major fantasy football sites such as FantasyPros, Draft Sharks, and even Yahoo's own Trade Value…

Injured players on IR should not be "Q" until they are expected to return
Players listed as "out" should be designated as "out" until they will play again. This week McLaurin is not going to play, per his coach. Yet he's listed as "Q". I have him on IR from last week, meaning I have to drop someone to make a move, even though he WILL NOT play this week, and is on bye next week. This is frustrating as F...

Player Availability Designation
Please give some consideration to leaving players designated as OUT until it's 100% certain that they will play that week. Right now, many times the player moves to Questionable from OUT, but then doesn't actually play that week.

Within league settings allow for IDP specific bench/roster spots
Is there a way to restrict roster/bench spots so they can only be used by IDP players?
Hello,
With the introduction of Travis Hunter in Fantasy Football, some two-way players who play snaps on offense and defense will earn eligibility at each position type. For example, Travis Hunter is eligible at both WR and CB in leagues that use offensive and defensive roster positions. Learn more about two-way players here.
There is no option to prevent a two-way player from being used in an IDP roster position.

Update your injury report in REAL TIME
I have a player in IR who's current designation in Yahoo is Questionable, where all other sites- press, sports websites, fantasy football sites - where Yahoo continues to delay updates, currently preventing me to from making roster moves. Either catch up with the world or allow leagues to update designations or customize IR.

Our injury designations are determined by our data provider. If a player is not officially on the IR, once the player's team officially rules them out for the week through their official injury report, or an official update on the team's page (such as X), then our data provider will update the player's designation to update in our game.

Search options within player discussions
In the "conversation" window within the individual player discussion, you should have a search box. That way when people want to look up if anyone else has asked a question about another player, they can search for that name. For example, if I go in the player discussion for Remondre Stevenson, and want to see if anyone else has asked if they should play Remondre or Kamara, you could just search the name "Kamara" instead of scrolling endlessly.

Interactive Trade Evaluation
The trade process currently is very manual and slow. It's hard to evaluate trade options when you have to create a new "trade proposal" just to see the evaluations.
1.) Create a "trade portal" where you can actively place and switch out players to view evaluations in real time. This would you create a better experience and flow for trades.
2.) If not that, there should be a button to adjust the trade. Currently if you press back all the players are deselected.

Matchup Changes
Our league has a scheduling discrepancy. I am unable to change 2 matchups for week 9 even though week 9 is labeled as "Not Started Yet". This seems unfair as there is still time before Thursday night kick-off and we are unable to resolve a simple issue. I am the commissioner of this league...

A commissioner can edit the schedule in a head-to-head league up until 11:59 PM PT the night before the first game of the week.
After that deadline, you'll need to contact Yahoo to make this change for you. You can reach out through the sports tab at help.yahoo.com for assistance.

Keep NFL player status as Out or IR until they get cleared to return
Examples: Ricky Pearsall and Calvin Ridley. Neither has been place on IR by their respective teams, but both have been out for multiple weeks without even practicing. Instead of flip-flopping their status between Out and Questionable every week, why not leave their status as Out until they are actually cleared to return? Benefit:

When a player is not on the official IR, their injury designation will reset at the start of the new game week. Once the team officially rules the player out for that week, our data provider will update the designation so it updates in our game. Please note that a report saying the player will be out does not change their designation.

Stop the cheating
Why can the manager of the league and a group of friends can over ride trades they want and not allow other trades?

Commissioners of Private Leagues can have 'Trades Reviewed By' set to 'Commissioner', allowing them to oversee the trades from start to finish.
Yahoo doesn't interfere in any way when it comes to Private Leagues, including issues with a Private League commissioner. Using League Chat or directly emailing the commissioner is the best way to address any problems.
For a Fantasy Sports experience without a commissioner, try a Public League. Yahoo acts as commissioner in Public Leagues where Fair Play and Sportsmanship guidelines are enforced.
