IR spot for someone who is only out for 1 week?
One of my league managers is able to put Justin Fields in his IR spot currently. Justin Fields is NOT on the IR. He is labeled as OUT for this week only due to concussion. Managers should not be allowed to put someone on IR when they aren't actually on IR.
Thank you for your feedback regarding placing a player listed as out on the IR. Out is an IR-eligible status in fantasy football and you can see this here. We appreciate your feedback and we will pass it along to our team!

Update Quicker
Aaron Jones was put on the IR and you still have him as OUT. That matters before waiver wire tomorrow.
Thank you for reaching out regarding the injury status for Aaron Jones. Our data provider updates the injury designations for players and will not list someone as IR or Out until the team officially makes a transaction to put the player on IR or they officially rule the player out for the game week. Once the moves are official, our data provider will update the designation which will then update in our game shortly after.

Doubtful players need to be eligible for IR
Sleeper already does this. This is an extremely aggravating part of fantasy… when a team or coach announces that a player will be out or on IR but ~ officially ~ he isn’t marked out yet, but everyone knows they’re gonna be out, and even they’re marked as doubtful on yahoo, then they need to be eligible for IR. I don’t care if they’re not tEcHnIcAlLy marked out or on IR yet, if everyone and their mother knows that a player will be out, then mark them doubtful and allow them to go on IR. It’s very simple and time…

Judkins OUT designation
How is Quinshon Judkins OUT?? He should be NA or something so managers aren’t able to stash him in an IL spot

C. Godwin
Chris Godwin is injured and has already been declared to not be playing for a month. Can get the "O" designation so I can put him in my IR Spot?

WHY IS DEMARCUS LAWRENCE NOT ON IR VS. D?????
WHY IS DEMARCUS LAWRENCE NOT ON IR VS. D
Hi!
Demarcus Lawrence has been updated to IR as the Cowboys officially placed him on the Injured Reserve list. Please note that players must be officially placed on IR by the team in real-life for their status to update in fantasy.
Thanks,

Issue with IR Spot in Yahoo Fantasy Football
I’ve noticed an issue with how the IR (Injured Reserve) spot is currently working in Yahoo Fantasy Football. It seems that if a player on a team is no longer designated as injured (and thus no longer eligible for the IR spot), the system should ideally prompt the team to adjust their roster. However, as it stands, the team can still keep the player in the IR slot indefinitely, even after they return to active play.
While they are unable to add or drop players without removing the ineligible player from the IR spot, teams that don’t need to make…
Hi Mo,
A player can stay on the IL, IL+, IR, IR, or NA for the entire season, even if they return to real-life action; https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN28136.html.

The IR slot should emulate the NFL IR status.
It's crazy that Yahoo allows players to sit on IR the whole season, even if they're active. Yahoo should follow the NFL protocol. If an NFL player comes off of IR, Yahoo should not allow fantasy players to stay on IR.
Hi,
Thanks for your feedback. We'll pass your comments along to our team!

Someone accidentally put N/A on Jordan Love this morning instead of OUT
Jordan Love finally became officially out for the week, but your data entry specialist put N/A instead of O. Please fix. I need a kicker
This was a temporary issue with Love's status being NA instead of Out. We apologize for the inconvenience.

doubtful
Needs to be switched to out, Jordan Love is clearly not playing, why is he listed as doubtful? Same thing happens all the time with multiple others players. This needs to be erased as an injury designation so we can move said player to IR.
We go by official injury reports released by the teams. If the Packers release an injury report where Love is listed out for this game, his status will be changed at that time.

Updating "Allow injured players from waivers or free agents to be added directly to injury slot:" did not trigger a Commish Note
Updating "Allow injured players from waivers or free agents to be added directly to injury slot:" from Yes to No did not trigger a Commish Note. This is a bug that should be updated for league transparency.
Please reach out to us via the contact us section of help.yahoo.com or X (Twitter) @YahooFantasyCC with the league number so we can take a look.
