I really, really hate the new permanent sponsored spam that is logged in at the top of our in-boxes and every mail folder as if it were a mail message. Please get rid of it. When I say I hate it I mean that I feel passionately enough about it to stop using my yahoo account which I've had ever since yahoo was a baby company. It's intrusive, it's abusive and it's super annoying. If you want to make money you have to provide a service e-mail customers are going to enjoy using, not want to swear at every time they open their mail. Without e-mail users your advertisers might as well advertise to blank computer screens. Cheers.

Wake up Yahoo, if I didn't have my email with you, I'd have switched homepage a long time ago.....and it is coming if you guys don't smarten up and have friendly pages, not with the ads all the time....at least you got rid of that other site that was so filled with ad that we could't watch the videos.

Agree. How much more feedback does Yahoo need.
Look at what has happened to Rogers - losing customers in droves because they will not listen to feedback. -

AdBlock Plus solves that problem nicely.

It has to be the way to disable this add, Yahoo, please offer some solution on right click but your Block Ad doesn't do ANYTHING good. Have some spam destroyer in the right click this is the link I was bombarded with

I agree, Yahoo please get rid off these spam or I will be using another email provider. You can't allow the "tick off" box to be blocked since this new spam disables it and nothing could be done about it and once it is in your mail box, they just run all the spam they can unload on you

Yep...time for a new service provider.

I agree! The first time I saw the add at the top of my email box I thought it was spam and tried several times to get rid of it. Besides being annoying, it wasted my time and effort.
As far as I'm concerned, this IS spam!

I agree 100% in this age of mass everything outfits like "Yahoo" could not care less what its costumers thing or feel as they know there service will continue to be used regardless. I now make a conscious effort to avoid anything in these ads.

With this new garbage, Yahoo has managed to achieve two things: mark certain advertisers as losers, spammers and complete idiots (whoever believes they'll get revenue by clogging up people's personal mail boxes must be a total idiot), and antagonize their own customers by treating them as idiots. Well done, Yahoo! this was a brilliant idea! keep going!

I completely agree. As if the ads on absolutely everything are not intrusive enough already..now its a part of my "private" e-mail? who gave Yahoo permission to give access to my e-mail to flog products...its like Yahoo has now ****** itself out to the highest bidders and allows whoever is willing to pay their price to be given access to me...thats ********. ..i want if off my e-mail account...perhaps Yahoo and their advertisers should be looking at the new Anti-spam legislation coming into effect in Canada on July 1st.

Absolutely! I agree. I can't stand these ads. These sponsored "spam" ads. It's arrogant and intrusive of Yahoo to plaster these into our email boxes. I'm thinking of dumping Yahoo altogether.
