I love your email service, and have been using it for more then a decade, but I will quit using it if you don't get rid of the ads at the top of my email list. It's ridiculous and a giant pain in the ***. Remove it and do it quickly.

The Fat woman blowing kisses at me the moment I go in to my email is too much. She makes my friends cry when they check their emails and that type of ad is totally in appropriate for a company that is supposed to be a family company. Always allow animated advertisement header on Yahoo homepage to be closed by users
Please ensure that the option to close the animated advertisement headers posted on the Yahoo homepage is ALWAYS available. For example, the Apple advertisement on today's homepage (18-05-2014) cannot be closed and is effectively seizure-inducing! I have been a loyal Yahoo homepage user for 20 years and am becoming fed up with Yahoo's ever-increasing shift towards FORCING me to repeatedly see advertisements for certain sponsors; with Apple being the one of the greatest offenders. I believe this is a very reasonable request.
Additionally, your "sponsored" articles slipped into the news feed are also pretty sad... At least you identify that…

NO SPONSORED ADS at the top of my inbox! What the ****? They are also on the side panels (where they should be kept) NOT COOL!
Keep the ads on the sides where they belong, if there is something of interest there I'll look. Otherwise don't put JUNK at the top of my inbox in bold letters. I've used Yahoo for years as my main email, but if this continues I'll go back to Hotmail. Easily.

Yahoo is all about how much they can make and not about those other people. They make more on ads but will have less support & no emailers.
