Allow us to provide input into the search engine like adding names of people we dont wish to see.
Allow people to exclude news stories. Allow them to type in words, phrases or names that they do not wish to see. For example, if I personalized my page to include the name Miley Cyrus, then any news article with her name on it would not appear in my news reel.

I want Canadian content
when I type in a name or place or even an idea, I get this long list of American content. I have to be very very specific in the search bar to get Canadian content. I chose to be on Yahoo Canada so I would get Canadian content. If I am looking for something in Woodstock, I want Woodstock Ontario , I would even accept other "Woodstock"s not in Ontario but not Woodstock somewhere in America and every single town named Woodstock in America before the Canadian Woodstock if I am lucky!!!

I hate your new American home page. Switch it back.
Your new American home page (I am American) is terrible. I will be switching to Chrome along with everyone else very soon if you do not change it back. Strange addresses appear when composing an email that are not from my contacts section
When I compose and select names to email, strange other names and addresses pop up mixed with my own contacts. I suspect that they belong to my contact people when they emailed me along with these others. I don't want these strangers and they did not give me permission for their names and email addresses. Eliminate Daily Mail articles on Homepage
Too much awful Daily Mail on homepage. It's a total rag. Some British news o.k. if from international source like Reuters or British publication like The Guardian. I'm switching back to Bing News until Yahoo Canada smartens up. Bing has a lot of interesting world and Canadan news from reputable sources. Bing's sports and entertainment not as good as Yahoo Canada however.
