2. Oath

   I've had a yahoo email account since I was in high school. Instead of a nice, professional one based on my name like everybody else has, I've dealt with having this long, rambling one nobody understands because I didn't want to change. I even weathered the storm of having it copied by a third party and the copy sending spam emails to everybody (though deleting it at that point would have done nothing. It was already copied.) Everything is linked to it. Including my bank account.

   I just got a notification that Yahoo, having been bought out by the ridiculously-named "Oath" and merged with its other companies, is going to start taking the content contained in my emails, sharing it and using it to map trends and preferences and give me a better internet experience. So far, there's no way to opt out. My choices are "I accept" or "I'll do this later". Even if there's an option to reset my preferences once I'm in, in the few minutes before I do that, I'm sure everything that's currently in there will be fair game to them. It's bad enough that my email provider has been harassing me for my phone number for the last couple of years. YOU DON'T NEED THAT.

   Maybe I'm being naive thinking that things like my bank statement are still private. If the hackers were able to copy my email and my friends list, who knows what they saw. I don't know how this works. I'm basically this generation's equivalent of computer illiterate. Maybe Yahoo's been watching my finances go up and down all along, and I've been at the mercy of the kindness of strangers and the fact that I have hardly any money.

   I've always been one of those people who has said, "If you don't want people getting your information on the internet, don't share your information on the internet. Duh." But some things are unavoidable and some things are sacred.

   Have issues logging in on android system. it logs out and then cannot id server. have to continuoiusly get a new code to log in. time to close yahoo acct permently.

6. Get your ******* mail system to work.

   Maybe get your stupid email system to work. No wonder Gmail is # one. Why , when nothing's changed, does my login to mail not work on Android? Why did I have to give up Thunderbird in Linux, again because of login issues? Could you fix your email server and stop worrying about corporate takeovers.

8. A Shaw Survey link keeps redirecting me, while on the Yahoo website and now in email

   I am having a major problem with my Yahoo account that has been getting worse. While on the web page, reading articles, for months I have been automatically redirected to a fraudulent shaw survey. I have to close the window , go back to yahoo and re-click on the story. That was already a problem. Recently, in my 'secure' email account, I am being automatically redirected to the survey. This is just ridiculous. There are so many posts here about it. Please fix it. I have had my yahoo account for a long time but I am going to close it soon, if this is not dealt with. Why do so many of us have to complain before something is done.

10. I cannot access the contact us page on your website; when I click on "contact us" it spins me round and round without a contact option

    I need to speak to a person who can help!! My daughter signed up for an account ages ago and linked it to one of my email addresses that no longer exists and she has forgotten her password, but we loop round and round and cannot get any answers!!

    In my fantasy football game last week, I won by less than 1 point. Now it is showing I had a point removed. On other Yahoo pages it shows the original score. It is very confusing and changes the results and the playoffs. What makes it more frustrating is that my team was undefeated before this game. Please explain where the point was taken from and why. 13. New Yahoo mail

    I did not want the "new and improved" yahoo mail. I continually declined to have my account updated but yahoo did as they always do and went ahead and updated it anyway. I hate the "new" yahoo, I am sick of all their pop-ups. What was wrong with the old email? It now takes twice as long just to check your emails. If my account is not switched back to the old version I will be leaving yahoo.

16. Finance Sort is complete broken

    In the new Yahoo Finance UI you just launched today, column sort is completely broken. I clicked on all columns that contain numbers (daily % gain for instance) and they get shuffled into a random order. It is now complete unusable.
