  1. Yahoo needs an authenticator for people without cell phones.

    Many people still have no mobile phone, you need a secondary system for validating people. Voice codes sent to a landline or VoIP line would work, like Microsoft does. Make the codes valid for three minutes.

    You could also create a mobile authenticator that does NOT use the SMS service. Not phones have SMS, and some do not even have data plans. Also fix the OpenID system!

  6. Email notifications of comments don't link to anything.

    I'd like to read people's responses to my comments, or see how many likes and dislikes my comments generate, but I can't now, as your email notifications only link to Yahoo's main page. Algorithm fail!

  9. Please check that your advertisers have a valid security certificate before letting the ad show up in my feeds.

    Some due diligence in ensuring your advertisers have a valid security certificate would be nice. I never allow a site without a valid certificate to display on my computer, neither should you. I know you need the revenue stream but advertisers need to stay responsible for their content.

  15. Offensive Language in Videos

    I suggestion you filter your videos for language, especially those that make your home page and have a preview mode.

    Your recent Featured story http://uk.news.yahoo.com/video/guy-gets-nasty-surprise-showing-233222517.html is full of "F-Bombs" and probably not appropriate for eveyone. It is an auto-play video and can be considered quite offensive and definitely for younger audiences.

  17. Yahoo makes it painful to view photo articles. Put all the images on one page so we do not have to reload the page for each one. ENOUGH ADS!

    Pop ups to unwanted content, videos that load new ones after viewing. If I wanted to see another cideo I would click on the **** thing! Stop forcing people to see things they did not click on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. The new messenger on Yahoo mail sucks big time!!! No way to tell who is online or off, or idle, and a lot more.....

    Can you fix it?? other than what I said above, I can't seem to do anything to my mail when the message box is open. There is no new message alert.... it really sucks! why don't you do proper UAT before launching..... why released such a bad tool.....

    I don't come into Yahoo very often. All I want to do is update account info and unsubscribe from a group I'm in. Do you think I can find any of that, patience lost. Help tells me to go to groups main page, where the **** is it??????
