HELP>>>> I have a problem with my email not getting all the emails. on my Ipad or phone device

I have issue with my email wont update or get new emails on my ipad or phone device and I have removed yahoo and then uploaded it again and reset and nothing is helping .

    some of my contacts are sending me emails that I'm not getting on this account
