Go back to previous version of mobile basic mail
The new mobile version of Yahoo that appeared this week is not as convenient to use as the previous version that was in use for quite a while. It would be great if there were a way to switch back. Mainly, the problem is that it’s like the regular version, which means that instead of being able to have a list of the folders, and then choosing to open the inbox, both the list to the left and the inbox are on the screen together, so there isn’t enough room, and the font is too small. It can be enlarged, but then you’re scrolling around all the time, to read anything. The way it was before, only the inbox could be on the screen, so the whole width of a message could be displayed at one time. It’s even hard to click on anything this way, because it’s so small, even for someone with small fingers like me. Also, the format is not right, so that I can no longer read a message on mobile, click reply and save, so that I can write later on the computer. I do this so that everything I need to reply to is in the draft folder. Now I have to wait to get to the computer and try to remember what I need to reply to.
This version should be optional. The only good thing in the change, which is far outweighed by the bad, is that the select all function for deleting messages has been restored, which is nice to use, instead of clicking on each message in a list to delete. But I would gladly continue to delete each message individually, and go back to having either the list of folders or the inbox showing at one time, and not both.
