Security issues are mainly due to bad habits of users. All the new restrictions do NOT add security, it just annoys users. Moreover, Yahoo is not happy with compromising the data they already have from all users, they want to add phones and cell phone numbers to their marketing database and create other issues like telemarketing calls for all users. Do as I was forced to do, STOP using Yahoo.

Now at 11 password changes, and yahoo keeps sending messages that I need to change it again for my safety. I have a better idea. I will stop using Yahoo, along with all of its ads and popups, and sign on to Google Mail. So, goodbye yahoo. Of course I don't expect you to read this or do anything about it.

This has been the #1 complaint since July if not earlier. Obviously Yahoo! does not give a **** what their users want and have no intention of listening to them. This area is apparently provided simply to placate frustrated users.

I am tired of being asked to change my password and probably would except you ask for a lot of other information, which is frankly none of your business.

to echo the general feeling here: ******** and your ******* security.
i can't use yahoo mail when i travel because it wants to know how thick my **** it is before it lets me access my account from another country.
then when i get back it's the same thing in reverse.
all the while constantly pestering me to change my password, provide a mobile number and reminding me that my account might have been compromised.

I have had to change my password 6 times in 3 months. I don't care if you don't think it's secure. At least I remember it. I like my freakin password. I hate this "security" feature. STOP MAKING ME CHANGE MY PASSWORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Years ago you asked for and got an alternate email address to send me notices if my account ever got hacked or I forgot my PW. Now you want a phone # for text. I have disabled text on my cell service, and there might even be email customers without cell phones (some of us live outside any coverage area). Moreover, if my account ever did get hacked all this personal information you're asking for would be a starter kit for identity theft. Did anyone even think about that?

yahoo mail - this suggestion is ranked SECOND in terms of votes. if you won't take action of this, then you are simply NOT SERIOUS about taking feedback and improving yahoo mail. the user community is not going to take you seriously until you recognize what's truly important to users. many of us are simply legacy users who want to give you a chance to take our feedback - or we will otherwise do away with your service.
