Provide a mechanism to report system failures.
POP service has been unavailable for a week with an error message: The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message number and sizes. Mail server pop.mail.yahoo.com responded: Server error - Please try again later. I've deleted everything, so the stat is zero. Fails on multiple email clients. If it was really a server error, someone at Yahoo should have seen it. Is Yahoo dropping POP service on free accounts without announcing it?

Save Yahoo Classic mail
I have always enjoyed classic mail and have tried the "new" format and I didn't like it. I can't filter e-mails in the new format and I'm easily able to do so using the classic version. I will strongly consider switching my primary e-mail to another site once Classic mail is discontinued after January 31, 2019. I know many others feel the same way about Yahoo gradually ridding itself of Classic mail from all of the comments on here. I really hope Yahoo will listen to its users and keep Classic mail as an alternative to their new version.

Default font letterspacing is too tight
Are you using Foundation Sans Condensed? If so, you should add some more letterspacing (tracking) to it -- say 10/1000 of an em -- and that would help your users' legibility issues tremendously. Going condensed allows more wordage, however, legibility is suffering. And to ask that users increase their browsers' font size by hitting "command+" is not a solution. Poor typography design is not the users' problem; it's a UI designer's job.

Yes. That's what happens. I even made folders to keep my mail in this time and Youassholes! - oops, i mean Yahoo! has deleted all of my correspondence for a second time. I suppose you get what you pay for. 20 years of letters gone. Keep up the good work, guys!

I switched back to basic because the new version of mail isn't working correctly, won't let you delete messages, go to compose, move message
I switched back to basic because the new version of mail isn't working correctly, won't let you delete messages, go to compose, move message nothing is working right and have to close page and reopen just to read messages. Need to go back to Classic Mail as nothing works right on the new version of Mail so had to go back to basic just to get it to work!!!

The basic version is better
I use the basic version of Yahoo Mail (and not the "newest" version) for two reasons. 1. The list of my folders (and I have many) is more readable in the basic version. Less text cut off. And 2. When I have briefly used the "newest" version I had loads of pop-ups telling me about things I did want to know. So Basic is better.

I do not like the new appearance
I don't know what happened, but yesterday my e-mail page suddenly looked different. I do not like the new appearance. It is disorienting.

Update your browser list
"Yahoo recommends you upgrade your browser to enjoy all the features in the new Yahoo Mail."
Do you realize that there are more than 3 browsers? Vivaldi (Chrome-based), Pale Moon (Mozilla-based)… In any case, add "not interested" checkbox to that warning or just stop showing it every time mailbox is loaded.

Yahoo, I hate, hate, hate, hate your newsfeed!!!!!!
Newsfeed is ATROCIOUS!!!!!! When I'm trying to browse down through the newsfeed, the new stories and pages feed soooooo slow that I'm constantly skipping past stories and have to decrease the font so small, I can barely read what's on the page. What MORON(S) designed this page? PLEASE DO A TOTAL REBOOT!!!!!!!
