The new one stinks. Bring back the old one or I'm gone.

I am completely lost. I went for help but I could not follow the instructions. I could not find the icons or menus. After so many tries I managed to get the toolbar without knowing how. I am at another computer and I am having the same problems.

And now LinkedIn Content module is gone. I was using My Yahoo CANADA for the My Portfolio since the new update but now that is gone too. I'm afraid Yahoo will be in the same pile as the 8-Track player sooner rather than later. Another longtime My Yahoo user disappointed

I'm switching to Protopage. I've got it to look mostly like my Classic My Yahoo, even down to the colors.
The headline hover feature now removed from the New Cruddy My Yahoo, is available on Protopage.
They do not offer a widget for the New York Times Dining & Wine section, but I discovered I could grab the URL from the Times site and import it into Proto - that was a nice surprise.
I also modified the weather to add a proper looking Accuweather module by going to Accuweather Apps and copying the HTML for a better widget and pasted that into a "User Added Widget.
So I'm ready to motor away from Yahoo into a Brave New World. -

You actually pay people to be this incompetent? When its not broken don't mess with it. Certainty somebody must have told Yahoo that before. First their new logo and now destroying the homepage. Stupid is stupid does.

Devastated! Day of mourning. I simply don't have words to express. Surfed back in (returned) to MyYahoo US site after a brief stay at MyYahoo Canada like many others. I too have been using MyYahoo as my "go-to" portal for since I discovered it in the mid-90s as there simply was not a better site. I simply cannot fathom how short-sighted these changes are:
- You have a captive audience who adore their personalized page with clearly identifiable interests; a target marketer's dream. Yet, you have alienated them by completely screwing it up.
- Example: my personalized MyYahoo portal focused on a selection of economic, financial, portfolios, space/science and health related modules from select sources, along with a couple of small ones like local weather. And now, the new MyYahoo presents me with the latest from "the Good Wife" or "Kim Kardashian" which I do not give a **** about, even though I am not from Romaina (I am with you fellow-poster).
- For those who like the old MyYahoo, simple customizing handles are gone. I preferred my news modules to have a wide left-hand pane with no pictures and a narrow right-hand pane for portfolios, which suited me elegantly. The layout changes force me to select from canned 2-column or 3-column layouts.
- The original portfolio color scheme (in the portfolio module on the front page) made it much more readable with the gray and white bands for background, and the red and green foreground for values used to stand out clearly. Not so any more. I have bifocals and have a need to adjust such layout parameters, not for some fanciful urge to see Kim Kardishian or my favorite jazzy background, but out of real practical reasons.
- Portfolio totals and daily changes were at the bottom. They're now at the top and are not changeable. The daily change amount is also gone and only the % change is visible.
Please bring back the flexibility we had with respect to the layout in terms of sizing, positioning and color schemes.
I would like to thank fellow poster "D" for the references to alternate sites.
I certainly hope these concerns are addressed or this regular MyYahoo user of more than 15 years will be forced to look elsewhere, where such needs are met.

No TV listings, no news on stock portfolio, I don't want current location in weather, ..... Bring back the old My Yahoo.

This is a garbage home page with very little flexibility. It certainly looks like it is time to find a friendlier site as my home page.

Yep this is ****. The work around at MyYahoo Canada is now gone as well. Time to go ahead and set up a home page at another portal. Been looking at Protopage, Netvibes, etc. Time to get serious about it I guess.

I am from Romania. Why should I read about what's in theatres in USA, about Kim Kardashian and other things????? If you want yahoo to be only for Americans, ok, close it for Europe. But do not oblige us to read stuff that we don't care about. Really! I just want to read my messages. That's it!

I can't find any of my old stuff. Try finding fantasy football or baseball. This is stupid. Bring back a choice for classic. i am about to move everything somewhere else.
