I TOTALLY agree with this comment!!! I have gone to the "newest" version and it SUCKS!!! 1.) I cannot set my own town for my weather, instead I have to look at somewhere in Colorado or California. I LIVE IN SOUTHERN OREGON!!!! Looks like no way to change it. I DO NOT like the set up for my news sites, looks like no way to change it!!! 3.) I DO NOT want to look at a **** ad in the top of one of my columns where my weather used to be. 4.) I DO NOT like the way my mail is set up and it looks like there is no way to change it to what I want. All in all, this **** sucks!! It is nothing but garbage and I WANT MY OLD HOME PAGE BACK!!!!! Like the person above I have had it for years and been very happy with it. Why are you suddenly forcing this change on us (that completely SUCKS!)! When I go to where it says I can alter what is there, the only options given are do I want 2 columns or three. I am disgusted with this **** and on the verge of looking for some other home page because this NEW YAHOO SUCKS!!!!!!

I guess you figure that since Yahoo! is in political-bed with the likes of this administration telling us what is best for us just like the Affordable Health Care. So be it. Someday a competitor will figure out that an audience is out here and take away the users on this site.
I can see on one page, no scrolling, all the info I want. Now for the same info, I have to scroll my page. So the days of just being able to glance gives way to an additional step. You offer no way to reduce the font size, any Javascrpt idiot could make that function.
You guys continually are screwing up this site, first the Mail which has its own set of problems that when you offer the Classic style when the current one is f$$ked up I relish that time.
I suppose that in-house you think you are doing a great job, kind of like inside the belt-way mindset of our government. You don't listen to anyone else except those who concur with you. The analogy is quite succinct and with our government you too are screwed up.

Give us a choice. Like so many others, we are quite content to go forward 2ith our current homepage. It has taken years to perfect. While it remains unclear whose homepage "improvements" are being unilaterally implemented by Yahoo on January 31st, it should be of the greatest concern to Yahoo executive management that its "clients" universally reject the page change as being slow, cumbersome and otherwise unwanted. You still have sufficient time to make Yahoo's intended change ... OPTIONAL!

I am clearly unimpressed with my first look at the new page. I can't figure out how to fix the column sizes. Then they appear to have removed the Calvin and Hobbes comic. Now there is so much garbage beyond the headline on my news feeds the the page has gotten to be 19 feet long. The market ticker is so wide it is obscurring the news feeds. I don't know who thought this was better but it is not.

Yahoo has been taking comments down from this site. I guess when the negative comments reach a certain critical mass, the geeks remove them. In one case they appear to have removed an entire subject (that had reached over 100 comments and over 2,000 votes). Crikey.

I'm looking for alternatives to Yahoo, too. Already changed my email and homepage and when they force me to change, I'm completely gone.
