Censorship algorithms
I cannot post legitimate discussion points on the finance board because your censorship algorithms are terrible. I can’t post the ticker symbol “$MFIN”, and other comments get rejected for similar garbage reasons. Fix this.

Repeated earning reminders
Today you allow me to get a reminder on an upcoming warning call.
I would like to be able and do that for all upcoming earning calls instead of needing to request it every quester when the dates are published for every stock. So when I’m doing it once for a stock, it will be nice to have a toggle that allows me to chose to get reminders for future calls of that company.

New UI update cripples me in the app
This morning the UI for Yahoo Finance on iPad was updated. This update crippled my ability to review account performance relative to market performance. It’s harder to see live account performance in the menu bar. Market performance is hidden when looking at a single account. I feel as though the value of using this app has vanished overnight. I would prefer to revert to the prior UI as it was far more capable.

Historical Cost Basis Data
Provide a way to calculate the historical cost basis For a share using dividend reinvestment information. For example, some stocks go back to 1984. There’s no way to figure Capital gains with dividend reinvestment for a share over time anywhere on the web but it looks like you have the data to do that and people could use that for tax reporting purposes.

Visual update 8.7.2 for iPad is terrible - make it optionable to revert
Before this update:
1 you’d select a ticker from the list/grid of tickers on your watchlist
2 it displayed your watchlist on the left (as a column)
3 and on the right you could see the “Key Statistics” section ALL inside the screen…
It was perfect… now after this update:
1 after selecting a ticker
2 you lose track of the rest of your watchlist (doesn’t show on the left or anywhere anymore)
3 everything is super large and zoomed in, have to scroll down to see the key statisticsSummary: This update was a step back in visual optimization.…

Delete or allow users to hide articles from outlets like Motley Fool who’s work promotes or denigrates stock for self gain.
Many articles in the “news feed” promote the holdings of the sponsoring agency (Motley Fool for example) and/or author of the article and provide a “one sided” analysis to fit a self-prescribed agenda instead of unbiased news. Allowing users the ability to hide articles from such companies would enhance the user experience ten fold.
