    If I enter an email address during the sign-in process, it displays an error message: 'Sorry, we don't recognize that email address or phone number.

  4. No Phone Numbers!

    Not asking for a Phone Number to keep account open. IT IS NOT YAHOO! BUSINESS TO KNOW PRIVATE PHONE NUNBERS!

    I do not mind having a public email as the backup, but I REFUSE to divulge my phone number. Do everyone a favor and take the phone number requirement out of the recovery options.

    In the current version of Yahoo you are required  to provide a mobile phone number to protect your online safety. It's important to have updated information should you ever need to change your account settings, reset your password or contact Yahoo customer support.

  5. I have tried everything your help system tells me and have entered the correct password several and it will not accept the password

    You need to have a system that helps old people that are not computer smart. Have been with Yahoo for at least 10 years and can not get any help to sigh in
