New Tiles/images way too big and lettering is difficult to read
I no longer like to visit your page because it's very difficult to scan the tiles - huge pictures are distracting and don't really contribute to an understanding of the item. Also many times the lettering cannot be read easily b/c they match the background color of black/white. I will much more likely go to CNET or ZDNET.

make every gif pausable
just a little pause button on the corner there. i'm sure you guys have that technology. you won't be compromising the design you've invested in - just making it possible for people to pause images they find distracting

I'd like the site to remember what I've seen and either gray it out or, better, hide it or push it down the page.
Grey out or hide news items that I've already seen. Remember that I have viewed them, across devices.

Talk about all Tech related news! even if its Yahoo!
Everyone covers the ousting of HdC and Yahoo selects no to report. If you can't use Yahoo for all news then you are effectively censoring!!

First thing, I am not a Yahoo Tech reader. But I REALLY like the new Tech page in terms of format and content. The new format
Need to be able to have a preference for Simplified/Classic format and the new format.
First thing, I am not a Yahoo Tech reader. But I REALLY like the new Tech page in terms of format and content at times. The new format is nice as the world goes to tablets and touch screens. It is nice not to have to hit the back button.
But when you are not on a high speed network, (most of the time I am,) a more simpler pages are preferred.
If I'm at work, the network is slow due to a lot of security…

I really don't like this new Tech page.
I really don't like this new Tech page. Nothing like having yahoo tech news page load really slowly because it's all one big long page full of photos. How about giving us the option of whether we want to use the older style or this new style. As it is right now, I can't even go to yahoo tech news because it's like 3 minutes just to load the page because of all the photos. You've killed yahoo the news for all of us that don't have the fastest internet or the newest computer. And I would upgrade both, but…

The tiles all blend together.
The tiles need contrasting boarders to help differentiate them from each other.

5 Articles on a 24inch screen??? no magazine is that big!
I can view approx. 4-5 articles on a 24 screen?
ahoo focused too much content on other tech sites and adopted the visual ascetics from Pulse & Flipboard.
How is Yahoo Tech, awesome, better, interesting, fun, original and different? Well unfortunately it' s not.

Looks like Fickr –not too convenient for reading tech news
The pager looks like flickr web pages and it works for presenting photographs. However when you want to read tech news it looks attractive for the first 2 minutes but after that get tired of endless scrolling.
If you want to stick to this style at least give an option to sort by date/publication time and date marker will be helpful.

New Tech page - tiles are too big, lack text summary
If you must use tiles apply some HTML5 smarts. Pulse.com at least has size options. The new flipboard web format combines graphics and text. But the real wave of the future is something like NYT Skimmer where the viewer selects the graphics/text mix and employs horizontal page "scrolling". It will be difficult to trust Yahoo Tech if it can't walk the walk.

Please. Please! Have a user switchable DARK THEME option.
Be that one awesome site that allows users to switch to a dark theme (black background with white text) to save our eyes from all the strain of looking at a predominantly bright white screen all the time.
Reading on LED screens and smartphones (in darker environments) can be so much easier on the eyes (and BATTERIES) if the page being viewed had a black background.
Do please look into this. It will be a big +50th rankedThanks for your suggestion, we are taking it under review!
