Too many ads only cause frustration, impatience, and anger with Yahoo as well as the ads. Money appears to be the gods of cyberspace.
Do not infiltrate the page with ad and arrows pointing to the ad when there is an interesting article to be read or video to support the headline.

Provide an answer to why large meaningless pictures and animated gifs aren't allowed to be swithced off by those that read.
Pictures are fun but when it comes to learning reading should override the unanswered question of need for overly large pictures and animated gifs that only pose a burden to most computer systems.

let me pick the ads I want. not just broad general categories.
I would like more control over the ads I can pick in my preferences. I only have 7 choices before i have to opt out. Let me pick and you will have better results. I don't want ANY entertainment or sports ads. I don't want ANY clothing ads. I will not buy any of that online. Give me stuff I want to buy online and I might even click. There are lots of other categories I do care about, but you will never know them. Also, this page is broken on safari. half of the page jumps around.

Quit bombarding us with the same ads over and over, day in and day out. Almost like stalking.
Give us the option to opt out of specific ads.

Ad control - you make me watch the SAME ad 12 times to see a few minutes of 12-Days-Of-Techness. Good grief, makes me want to NEVER come bac
So bad, I NEVER want to visit Yahoo again! No wonder y'all are going down the tubes. And, I've been surfing the web since ArpaNet.

Too much advertising
Stop the madness. No one wants to wait thirty seconds listening to some stupid commercial while waiting for a feature article to pop up.The only thing those advertisements do is frustrate the reader to the point that they turn Yahoo off.

use a thumbnail image and a list of stories. use a notebook computer to base your page on.
You are having to much fun playing with high speed unlimited internet access. Try planning your pages on a notebook computer with an intermittent slow speed dish connection. To many images. A thumbnail and an info line list is all that is needed. Let the user choose the story they want to read. Quit trying to manipulate what we read first.

Pages with a wall view need an option to see them as a list view
The page https://www.yahoo.com/tech has a wall view, hard to scan with eye issues. Please make a list option like the view on the health page

add save button
the sharing options there in the magazines' homes are pretty cool and quick; it's a little weird, though, that I can't just share it with my future self by saving it.
