Use the old page. This reverts to California. Got local theater click movie get CA showtimes. Not useful. A real pain.
Allow individuals to select a default location that it will always open with. Allow for viewing alternate location favorites. When you find a movie in the theater of your choice when you click on it, give that theater's info not California. Go back to the old page. It was user friendly and easy to navigate. Why is it when people call themselves improving things it becomes more complicated requiring 4 steps to the 1 you use to make? I hate this new page and will find another movie listings page if this is not improved.

Cut back on the slideshows
Cut back on the slideshows and GIFs, esp the 1-second long GIFs. I usually back out of slideshows just to see 10 pictures etc. that could easily be scrolled down. I just backed out of this movie apocalypse article, slideshows can be slow and a bother to click forward or get back to the original page because you just added 10 pages to your browser.

What is the deal with the layout?
Why is there 3+ inches of empty whitespace on the sides of the articles? Why does the search bar / header take up an inch or more of space? Why does every article require me to make extra clicks just to read the entire article? Why have you made the Yahoo Movies home page look like a series of tiles like Windows 8, an almost universally hated (by consumers) layout design?
I like some of the articles posted on Yahoo Movies, but the layout is so atrocious that it is literally painful / difficult for me to look at.

Get rid of the useless floating menu that blocks the trailer video
I agree with what everyone says - I can't find the reviews, showtimes, and I'm not getting the right locations. Also the menu bar floating on top of the videos is really annoying.

Showtimes, Location
I go to showtimes and it alwasy puts Sunnyvale, CA. It does not allow me to change to the correct location, I'm in FL, plus I used to be able to same Favorite Theaters and now it doesn't. Boo Hoo

Bring back the roll over pop up with reviews.
Bring back the roll over pop up of the movies with reviews shown in the pop up. Yahoo movies used to work like this and it was great. You could check the movie times and if you wanted more info on a movie or didn't recognize it, you could roll over the movie and the pop up has the review rating and a short synopsis. A quick click on the review would take you to the full list if you wanted more details. Worked great. The new layout if all flash and a pain to drill down to find any…

There should be a pull-down filter for Rating so I can just see the movies suitable for my kids

I would love to be able to quickly find just the movies with ratings suitable for my kids. A simple pull-down filter for MPAA Rating would be wonderful (such that it shows all movies less than or equal to the chosen rating)

Auto playing video ads just **** me off and make me close the page.
Get rid of the auto playing video ads. They waste my time, my data, and just **** me off! I am LESS likely to patronize any business that uses them as it creates a negative impression of that business.

What happened to user reviews and user rating?
I can't find it. Is it gone? I hope not!!!
It was a good indication of the movie's quality and gave everyone a fair chance to rate the movie and express their opinion.
I guess I'll have to change to IMDB! -
