Screen the comments section more and flag racist and blatantly hurtful comments. Yahoo Entertainment is flooded with these type of comments
1st offense gives a warning. 2nd offense bans the individual for a week. 3rd offense bans them for life! The racists comments need to stop!

Report news, not ideals.
I suggest you stop promoting the leftist ideals and stick to reporting just the news. This is entertainment, not politics. This attacking anything or anyone that is remotely pro Trump, is bordering on ridiculous and should be left with CNN and the like. YOU, are an email service with a sidebar of news. Spambots -- Disable links in comments
Spambots are hitting nearly every article posting spam links to "news" articles, then up-voting their comments with hundreds of accounts and replying to force the comments to "Top Comments." I've seen these comments receive 100 thumbs up within seconds of being posted. The links posted could easily be malicious.
If Yahoo! removed the ability to post links in comments, these spambots would likely go elsewhere.

Yahoo broke its own rule, cutting off comments after one day, not three.
Your rules say comments close after 3 days. One story from yesterday says comments are already ended.

Improve the AI that decides if a comment needs to be reviewed.
My comment is under review for using the work NAZI in an article that uses that word in the headline of the story. Please explain. If a word is perfectly fine to be used by Yahoo and the writer of an article you post, then that word should be perfectly fine to use in a comment to respond to that article.

Give more details when a comment is blocked.
I tried to post a comment - which was just pasting the text of a bill in a state legislature - that got blocked and now I'm blocked from making comments. I did not write anything insulting, improper, argumentative or explicit. Just pasted the language from a bill that didn't have any profanity or questionable words. It would certainly be helpful to know what word the stupid algorithm has a problem with when a comment is blocked for no clear reason. I usually have no problem with the Yahoo censors because things can escalate online and a censor can keep…

Again I had a comment rejected? NO explanation of why .
Maybe it was because I mentioned the Yangtze river in China and anything related to China is illegal.
I reposted the comment with the word Yangtze and it went through okay.
