I wanted to leave a positive review and 5-star rating for Central Orthotic and Prosthetic Company of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Quite contrary to the previous one review posted 11 years ago, I found the staff, especially Cori, to be highly professional, courteous and efficient in promptly securing the special knee brace my wife required following surgery. I highly recommend this company to any one in similar need.

If Yahoo had star ratings DeBug would the max amount available. Rock solid product with a very helpful company behind it. Kind folks who seem to understand the hassles wheelchair bound people endure. These chairs open the possibility of people with mobility problems joining the family on the beach with ease. Regular wheelchairs just dig into the sand. The DeBug wheelchair glides as easily as a regular wheelchair on a sidewalk. The fat tires offer a smooth ride and suspension, the rear tires are mounted on a pivoting torsion like bar that keeps all four wheels firmly and safely on the ground. My wife is wheelchair bound, the DeBug wheelchairs reopened the beach for her after a long illness; I think the ease of use makes her feel less of a burden. I'm grateful for their attention to detail -- sealed bearings, smooth welds that are works of art, guarantee on the tires, and more -- the integrity of the people that run the company is exemplary, they do what they say they are going to do.

Went to Luis's Garden grille to have breakfast. It was great. The prices are reasonable, sizes are good and the service was wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone. they use to be in a different location and I missed them. So glad I have found them again.

American Sewing Machine Co did not honor the price quote. First it was quoted at "$80 for a Tune Up and it will be like new". After my 84 year young mother had my son go load it into her car so she could drive there, the technician failed to give her a ticket and only asked for her last name and telephone number, and stated it would be ready Friday, $80 for a Tune Up and it will be like new. On Friday my mother called and the Manager requested her ticket number, she stated no ticket was given, and the manager argued with her that he could not help her with out a ticket. After she explained that no ticket was given, the Manager insited he could not help with out a ticket number. After she explained again that only her last name and telephone were requested by the technician, the manager stated that her machine was not ready, and it required an additional $50.00 for cleaning on top of the $80 for a Tune Up that would leave the machine like new.
American Sewing Machine Co. El Paso Texas is now holding the Sewing Machine *******.
I called, and I asked for the Manager, I started to explain to him the situation and then the Manager requested her ticket number, and I stated no ticket was given, and the manager argued with me that he could not help her with out a ticket. Afte4r I raised my vice with expletives that no ticket was given, he asked me to go visit him to discuss, and I stated that I lived out of State and that was not an option. He basically stated that the $80 for a Tune Up and it will be like new only after we opaid an additional $50 for cleaning.
Next Stop BBB, then Small Claims Court
There are at least a dozen other service shops in El Paso, and I recommend you try any other one.
