As said -- if you have a new, rubbish screen in Chrome it's because Yahoo has added an extension called Yahoo for Chrome (Expect this if you use Microsoft products) -- go to the three lines at top right (chrome menu) and select more tools then extensions and then look for Yahoo for Chrome. Remove it. I'd vote by NOT buying MicroSoft products as much as possible if I were you.... If you're the MS / yahoo wise guys who install/ write this stuff a) it was sneaky the way it was put on: stop it!; b) have a LARGE remove button at the bottom of the page too -- if you think your product is so great -- let's see how many people hit that button or not... I know it's not the MS way, but if you believe in your product you'll do it.
