Yahoo keeps allowing scam web sites to advertise on the "home" page. The three I have seen are "Caredy" "Garden Friend" and "G".
Please vet the sites Yahoo allows to advertise. You are helping scammers bilk people out of money.

Fraudulent Ads on Yahoo
If an ad for purchasing something is posted on Yahoo, the company posting the ad would pay Yahoo to run the ad correct? Does Yahoo vet the companies to ensure they are legit?

Check to make sure the ads you are running are actually legit. How about since so many people complained about this, we all go after you to pay back our money we lost because of your ads????

There is a Verizon ad that plays sound even though the ad is on mute.
When I open the Yahoo homepage there is a Verizon page that plays the ad. I shouldn't have to mute my computer every time I want to go to your site.

Stop auto loading the USAA ad
Stop auto loading the USAA ad. While browsing your homepage, the USAA ad keeps running un muted. You mute it and 5 seconds later the ad restarts unmuted. You pause it and 5 seconds later the ad reloads itself and is unmuted. ALL OTHER ads remain muted. It makes your site unusable.

I have had enough of these pop up video ads...
These pop up video ads on Yahoo's homepage are insane. They continue even after I close them out, as if on a timer... every minute they loop and start playing again. I do not mind the onslaught of image ads, but I absolutely cannot have these video/audio outbursts occur... as frequently as they do. As a result, I will no longer be using Yahoo as my homepage. This is the most frustrated I have ever found myself online.

TEMU ads
I am being totally assaulted by ads from TEMU, I'm almost to the point of installing an ad blocker to get away from them. It's ridiculous. There needs to be a way to unsubscribe from them

Yahoo disparaging ad blockers
Mar 3, 2023. Yahoo has recently been interrupting my email work by overlaying a box saying that my ad blocker is slowing down my response time, and insisting that I disable ad blocking. When I decline to disable it, Yahoo's response is to delay my ability to resume email activity with a countdown clock of 15 seconds. Ad blockers DO NOT slow response time, they enhance it. My ad blocker intercepts between 50 and 100+ ads on every Yahoo page I visit. Yahoo's actions in this regard are both annoying and insulting. Stop your misleading bashing of ad blockers.
