Animal abuse
Please stop posting these animal abuse articles and pictures on you home page. It is quite disturbing to see these abusive pictures and articles on the front page when opening your internet. At least give us an option to vote out of these type of pictures and articles. You should be ashamed of yourself for allowing these stories to be posted. If not I will have to use another option for my internet home page and search engine.

ABSOLUTELY. Before you have the option to stop the video, you witness these animals being shot and writhing in pain. It is so disturbing, I'm sick to my stomach. The warning on the video was so small, I would never have tried to read the article had I seen it.

I totally agree. This needs to stop and all you're doing is either thinking you're going to get more hits or give sick bastards ideas.... Either of which is just morally and ethically wrong. Either stop featuring/showing these or let someone select a profile to exclude such. I'm giving Yahoo! a time out for a few days and when I come back, if I see these sort of things again, I'm never returning (there are way too many other sources to use) and I'm bringing this up to everyone I know and encourage them to do the same. STOP IT NOW!

Lately, the news feed has been autoplaying explicit videos of people fighting, being hurt in horrible accidents, or even children being seriously injured.
One video yesterday showed an infant being dropped on the ground to die while its mother engaged in a fistfight with another woman. Another showed a child being gored by a large animal and thrown into the air.This clearly isn't for the sake of news reporting, but for the lurid appeal of violence. What's next? Videos of people having ***?
It's R-rated and it must stop.

I WENT TO YAHOO TO SEARCH FOR SOMETHING. TIME THE PAGE COMES UP THERE IS A PICTURE OF A DOG THAT HAD SPIKES OR SOEMTHING ALL OVER IT FACE. IT MADE MY FLESH CRAWL. IT WOULD MOST CERTAINLY SCARE A CHILD IF IT BOTHERED ME.

The usual animal abuse stories, which you keep ignoring the fact that people cannot stand them, why you have to show them is beyond me! Most of the time the animals are rescued but the images are horrific and burned in our minds!

so basically you don't want to live in reality? People need to see that these things are occurring so that we can affect change in our world. Pretending it doesn't exist because it's hard to look at doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Imagine what those poor tortured animals are going through.

Yahoo is obviously insane. They just will not cease. They are obsessed with dog abuse stories. I cannot tolerate it FOR ONE MORE DAY. We have requested that they stop but I guess that their psychosis dictates policy. ********, I'm gone.

It was a clip of someone drowning a kitten by throwing it into a body of water. Please never let this happen again. I can't get the image out of my head. This goes for other potentially triggering and explicit news videos without warnings that autoplay in the news feed. I'm extremely upset and I don't get upset easily.

Regarding animal abuse articles... I want the same thing done to the people who did those horrible tortures to animals. I hope they catch the people who tortured them and prosecute to the full extent of the law. But, I am not sure I can handle opening up my yahoo news for the day and constantly seeing these kinds of abuse stories. Could you tell me how to change my filters or adjust what TYPES of articles I see on my yahoo page please? I love animals and it is quite depressing to constantly see these kinds of stories. I do not believe me seeing photos or reading about the cruel tortures and deaths these animals endured at the hand of man is going to help capture the men, or put them in jail, so it is simply creating a negative brain to start my day. I would prefer to choose things that are uplifting, joyful, motivational, feel good stories, and things that remind us there is SOME good in this world. THANK YOU Please advise how I can control what content is being chosen for my yahoo.
