The new format sucks!!!!!! If I can't switch back I will find a new homepage.
Allow the customers to switch back. There is not one post here or on the net that says that someone likes the new format

Thank you for the feedback! We do have an option to revert back to the previous version. At the top of the page you should see a purple banner. Within that banner you would need to click on "Old Version" or you'll see an option saying return to yahoo.com. For additional support please visit help.yahoo.com

Why use this new yahoo if I can't customize it. It's no different than CNN or MSNBC of other news websites.

You have polluted the new My Yahoo news feed with **** that I'm not interested in and you won't let me change it. It wouldn't be so bad if I could select what I want to see like before, but for you to dictate what I see is unforgivable. Change back or let me choose otherwise, I'm QUITTING Yahoo.

It says "we are listening", apparently all the comments are falling on deaf ears! Sad.

What idiot decided that changing My Yahoo was a good idea??? It was my personal go to place first thing in the morning for years and now it's rubbish. It was great while it lasted, but so long, Yahoo.

My.Yahoo.com has been my goto page for years because I can select the categories and feeds that are interesting and valuable to ME! The "New Yahoo" home page is full of endless "People Magazine" like drivel and and no way to make persistent changes so it defaults to my desired news categories and daily financial information. As a result, Yahoo.com will disappear off my daily internet stops and I'll find a more configurable homepage in the future.

If you invested in Yahoo when they started up, you're probably broke by now, but if you only just used their inferior products, you may have been kept on their website by the one thing they ever did right, My Yahoo. They have been working on killing it for many years now, they took away links to it from all their other pages, but if you still were using it, you had a reason to appreciate this dinosaur of a company. As of 12/10/24, they took away the only thing they ever got right. Their email system is wonky, all the other stuff they offer is probably just as bad (although who would know since nobody would bother looking). But My Yahoo actually let you have a single page where you could see all of the info you wanted in one place: stocks, emails, weather, address book, news stories, scores for your favourite teams, all customized to your own preferences. I guess the geniuses at yahoo figure that giving the customer what they want is bad business, so they replaced it with a page of ads.

Agreed. I don't want to see Horoscopes (anti-science), sports that I'm not interested in, stuff to buy, etc., etc., etc. Let me see sports I'm interested in, science news, the ability to add content from other sites, weather for other locations, etc., all on one personalized page. A bet a major search for the next week will be "my.yahoo replacement".

Really? The old page, with the allow customization, was very good. Sure, the email counter never worked, but the rest was great.
The new page is not customizable, doesn't show your portfolio, has a giant ad on top and, of course, the email counter still doesn't work.
If this is what you get, I'll be switching home pages soon.

The new layout is horrible. Are there any type of settings to change anything? I might of said I would deal with it, but there isn't even a dark mode. It actually hurts my eyes.
