The new format sucks!!!!!! If I can't switch back I will find a new homepage.
Allow the customers to switch back. There is not one post here or on the net that says that someone likes the new format

Thank you for the feedback! We do have an option to revert back to the previous version. At the top of the page you should see a purple banner. Within that banner you would need to click on "Old Version" or you'll see an option saying return to yahoo.com. For additional support please visit help.yahoo.com

commentedWe’re building a new yahoo.com to show more of what’s interesting to you.....My Yahoo was what interested me...why do you insist on making your site worse. I'll be moving away, between thinking you know better what I like and your oppressive censoring in the comments on yahoo finance...I'M OUT!

commentedI agree wholeheartedly with the negative comments here regarding the end of my.yahoo. It has been my internet starting point for years with quick, one-page access to my most used links, favorite team sports scores, a preview of my most recent e-mail, and news summaries. Now, instead of an organized page of the primary things I want to see, I'm presented with a with a nearly endless list of **** you want me to see. Looking for a new internet home...

commentedI want my old myYahoo page restored. This new one is not what I want. The option to click back to the old one doesn't work. I don't like being stuck with something I don't like.

commentedWhere are all my RSS feeds with this new format? Please restore the old format or at least give us the option to keep it.

commentedIt needs to be customizable for news feeds (like My Yahoo was). It needs to have customizable weather locations (like My Yahoo had). It needs to be able to show my Yahoo Finance Portfolio live performance (Like My Yahoo did). You have successfully removed EVERY SINGLE ONE of those features - leaving me with no reason to stay with Yahoo for anything, and no reason to allow your ads to impact my visual cortex.
If you want to create a landing page that people will keep as their home page, as I have done for more than 20 years now, then DON'T REMOVE ALL OF THE FEATURES THEY USED!
I'll stick around just long enough to find another stock portfolio... then I'm shutting off the lights on this account after 25 years(ish).

commentedPlease bring back the capability to format the Yahoo landing page based on user needs. This was far more effective and user friendly. I now have to find a new home page.

commentedMy Yahoo was a great format. The ability to tailor news and information to my needs was terrific. The new format removed this ability. I will need to find a new site for my home page that fits my needs.

commentedI wholeheartedly agree. I had my yahoo home page set up just the way I like it. I had my mail and the weather at places that are relevant to me easily accessible. Now I have to hunt all over to find them. There's nothing user-friendly or intuitive about this new format.

commentedI hate the new format. I want my old My.Yahoo.com page back - with the content and information I choose - not someone else.
 This is terrible, terrible, terrible.

commentedHow about you allow customizing the page so that only subjects that interest me appear? Kind of like MyYahoo.

commentedTotally a lot of "fluff" which is of no interest to me. Screwed up "My Portfolios" too.

commentedI've been using My Yahoo almost since its inception, and have been happy with the it. I've saved 50+ bookmarks on my homepage when I first customized it. However, the new format came up today (Dec. 10) and I no longer have access to my bookmarks, can no longer access My Yahoo. The customer service rep I spoke with tried for over an hour to help me retrieve my bookmarks, with no success (the new format is not customizable at all, no option to place "bookmarks" on homepage). I am extremely frustrated, I can no longer access work, home, bills, favorite restaurants, etc. without doing a browser search. The rep said the new format is not even fully ready yet. It is bad business to take away the old format without having the new one ready to go yet. If I try to access My Yahoo, it takes me straight to the new format. Please continue to allow access to the old format, or put an option in the new one to create bookmarks (not the ones at the top that are 'starred', but one where many can be stored).

commentedIt has worked good for a long time, but you have let it deteriorate while you where trying to ruin it. It is of no value to me the way you have changed the site. I will try again tomorrow to see if you have come to your senses. Then I am gone. Whoever came up with this scheme should be fired.

commentedThe new format is horrible. Probably enough people won't complain, but I will have to find another place to go. Cannot stand the busy home page. I liked My Yahoo because I could customize it for news feeds that interested me, and my portfolio was right there all the time.
Major mess Yahoo. I think you will regret your decision.
