The new format sucks!!!!!! If I can't switch back I will find a new homepage.
Allow the customers to switch back. There is not one post here or on the net that says that someone likes the new format

Thank you for the feedback! We do have an option to revert back to the previous version. At the top of the page you should see a purple banner. Within that banner you would need to click on "Old Version" or you'll see an option saying return to yahoo.com. For additional support please visit help.yahoo.com

For like 20 plus years my homepage was beautiful. Designed to my liking. Then POOF, it is gone. What were you thinking. Now I have to read what you want me to read. Please bring back the old design

This new Yahoo is so bad I'm now using MSN as home page. It is far better than your new Yahoo.

I am leaving yahoo as a homepage. You all have forced the "new look" in our face and it is terrible.Clearly no one in the company reads these comments. I am going to find a provider who does. Enjoy your new look.

I'm very curious how many people have complained to Yahoo! about the My Yahoo option. I mean, we've always had the yahoo.com option to set as our homepage, and yet we chose the My Yahoo option. That might be a clue that it is the preferred choice over your standard yahoo.com layout.
I've never seen a company so **** bent on destroying its brand. Guess I'll be finding a new homepage. -

Can't stand the new yahoo home page. It's like reading a news paper or magazine full of stuff I'm not interested in and no way to customize it to my interests.

I am totally disgusted with the new format. I loved my customized home page and now it's gone and I see no way to customize the new homepage. I am currently looking at alternatives and will be leaving Yahoo for something that allows me the flexibility I need. Bottom line, you screwed up.

J J Tucker below said it perfectly.
"If anyone at Yahoo is reading these comments: I've given it some time to see if it grew on me or I somehow discovered it was better than initially thought. It's not. I did not have the My Yahoo page just for the Yahoo featured news items, I had it for many other features, not the least of which was organizing the various types of news feeds in different sections. I miss seeing my portfolio, sports scores, weather from verious locations that are important to me and more. I don't mind trying out a new way to present the news, but don't remove all the other features which made My Yahoo such an important part of my web experience every day."
I agree with them and would like to say that I am definitely not afraid to try something new but the new site is not good. Why was the change impemented? I would love to know the thought process that Yahoo went through to make this change. Maybe if I understood the process, I would be able to see what their vision is for the site. The old "My Yahoo" site was something that I visited multiple times each day because there were so many things of interest to me. I set up the page to reflect what I wanted to see everyday. I am sure that was by design when the engineers initially designed their page. This new site does not allow me to populate a page specific to me and is, by all intents and purposes, pushing me to multiple other sites to get my information. Yahoo is no longer figuring into my day-to-day life.

Your new layout sucks. Unless you bring back "My Yahoo", I will stop using Yahoo all together.

I know there are many posts yelling (YELLING!) at Yahoo about the changes. This is intended to highlight the features that I found valuable that have been lost and would really appreciate being brought back in a way that integrates into their new fresher design:
- Being able to organize the news/information presented in a way that works for me
- Including the ability to see weather from multiple locations
- Including a look at Yahoo Finance, the markets and stocks I want to keep track of via My Portfolio
- Sports scores and news in it's own area of the page
- News separated and organized by topic (US, world, sports, tech, entertainment, etc.)In addition, a feature I always wished it had: Standings and/or Matchup status for my fantasy teams
Commenters: What other features do you miss and/or would you recommend Yahoo adds that would make you want to return to using/visiting Yahoo every day?

If you look at the top 50 complains, they center around the hate for the myyahoo format.
Yet, i see #4, some silly idea to cut out ad that will no longer apply for another 4 more years being "gathering info".
Are you all so silly to not see that people are splitting votes for the same idea? And if you combine these votes, it's the issue that MOST peoples' complaints are about?
These feedback posts are useless.
