Please return to the previous Yahoo Email format.
The new format restricts the page with the index of the mail, plus an encroaching advertisement intrusion. I hate it and will try to find another address. I have been a satisfied user of Yahoo for many years, but this new format is terrible!

Despite weeks of people posting complaints mothing is being done. The new format takes way too much scrolling, no sense of order, users should be able at least to customize this excuse for a news page. You may think people have no choice if they have a yahoo address they've been using for a long time. I have set up a new address to simply grab my Yahoo and I don't have to come here anymore. Can't believe what you wanted is to chase users away. Over 20 years and now I cannot use or tolerate this ridiculous page structure. Not only is this a solution you have created to a problem that doesn't exist, you have created a new problem. The line on this comment page says "We are listening" That's almost as big a joke as the new Yahoo home page.

The new Yahoo is a terrible idea. All it does is clutter up my screen with garbage. There was a way to switch to the old Yahoo, but that is no longer possible. I do NOT want the new Yahoo. Thank you.

The new "improved" My Yahoo Home Page is terrible. There is no longer a theme option to customize the look and feel of the page, and now, in order to get my email, I must click on a link that opens a new page unlike the former layout that went directly to the mail page.
The new email protocol is also awful. In the old setup, one could check all the emails and delete the entire batch. Now, emails can only be deleted one-by-one. Additionally, the page defaults to "priority" mail instead of "all." I want to decide what's priority or not by seeing all emails.

Why are all new homepages designed for young people who watch music videos with quickly changing and scrolling items? The latest Yahoo homepage has images that scroll every few seconds and there is not enough time to even read the text blurbs below the pictures to know if it might be worth reading further.
Some of us don't or can't watch videos due to location or preference, but your new page is not made for people who prefer to read rather than watching videos. I frequently am unable to listen to audio and watching a silent video isn't practical.
There are too many items on screen. I am usually on a multi-screen computer or a 17" laptop and the myriad of clickable items makes it difficult to find anything interesting. I have the real estate on my monitors to see things in a nice format, but you cram everything together with pictures that are intended as 'attention grabbers' that only confound and confuse. The page There are so many topics that I am uninterested in and I would rather search for a new news source than trudge through the flotsam & jetsam on your screen.
I know I can customize 'My Yahoo', but that never works out. I end up missing so many interesting stories due to your algorithms always trying to steer people to what it determines are similar topics, but only bring up links that are really uninteresting. Every AI I have encountered that tries to learn personal interests has failed miserably.
Just present information that people can peruse and stop trying to figure out what I want in real time. People's interests vary wildly and based on the feedback, there are many complaints. Why not allow people to choose the style they like? Why can't you direct your programmers to allow choice? We have enough cheap computing power that you could provide both styles, and maybe add more, and make more people happy rather than forcing a change that might increase positive feedback by a few percentage points.
Stop changing stuff. Just provide alternatives and choice that bring back competition. we had 12 major airlines in the 80's and now we have 4. We used to have many grocery chain providers and now we have 3.
I am Autistic (Asperger's) w/ ADHD (AuDHD). Change is difficult and lack of good customization leads to abandonment of vendors, products and social groups.

It would be nice if you would leave my homepage alone. I like it the way it is. The test page I see is just not very appealing to me, so if you could please leave my homepage alone.

I have been using Yahoo since it started. But you really need to know that your new home page really sucks the big one! Who ever came up with the new Yahoo should be fired. I am now looking for a new site to read the news. Also lately when I click on some stories I get a big Vires thing that pops up and I have to close your site What's up with that????

The new "My Yahoo" is horrible. There is no way to customize it like before. If this is not changed back to similar to the way it was before or like it was I am going to delete my profile and stay away from Yahoo.
