The new format sucks!!!!!! If I can't switch back I will find a new homepage.
Allow the customers to switch back. There is not one post here or on the net that says that someone likes the new format
Thank you for the feedback! We do have an option to revert back to the previous version. At the top of the page you should see a purple banner. Within that banner you would need to click on "Old Version" or you'll see an option saying return to yahoo.com. For additional support please visit help.yahoo.com

Upon the advice of the Yahoo representative that I spoke to, everyday I get a Yahoo popup on my homepage informing me of a daily streak. It lasts only a few seconds with a brief comment attached like "You're Doing Real Well" or something and the number of consecutive days that it has occurred. I would like to have it removed ASAP as it has been creating quite an annoyance for me to have to see it pop up late at night or early in the morning. So hopefully, you will be able to find a way to discontinue that very much undesired daily annoyance.
Yours Sincerely,
M. Paris -

On December 29th, per instructions from a Yahoo Help representative in Estonia, I filed a report, reproduced below, that for several months I have been blacklisted from commenting on Yahoo News stories. Although I have received no follow-up response from Yahoo, I have been hoping that the situation would have been resolved now by now; but today - January 1, 2026 - I made a two-word "Test comment" post that *appeared* to have been accepted.
However, after only a few minutes had passed, I received the by-now familiar e-mail message that "Your comment on Yahoo has been rejected," saying "Your comment on 'Videos released in Epstein files raise fresh questions about jail footage' violates the community guidelines and has been rejected"
PLEASE FIX THIS !! I am a longtime loyal Yahoo user who does not deserve to be treated this way!
Here follows the text of my report from 12-29-25:
Notify Yahoo News users of being banned from commenting, and how to resolve.
Ladies and Gentlemen: I just now talked to a helpful Yahoo representative in Estonia, and he directed me to this site for resolution of my problem: For more than two months now I have been effectively blacklisted from making reader comments regarding Yahoo News articles. No matter how respectful, benign or "vanilla" my comment - such as "good point," for example - it *appears* to post, but then I soon receive an e-mail message saying that I have "violated community standards" and my comment has not been accepted.
I have received no notice or explanation that I have effectively been banned from commenting, or how to go about resolving this ban, but it is quite apparent that this is indeed the case - even though I have always tried to be respectful and non-controversial in *attempting* - albeit unsuccessfully - to comment on various Yahoo News articles.
Please tell me how to go about resolving this exasperating dilemma!
Thank you and best regards, MarkT markt_a1b@yahoo.com

The recent Yahoo Mail interface font change has made folders, inbox text, and menus extremely difficult to read.
There is no option to change the font or text size, and browser zoom does not resolve the readability issue. This creates accessibility problems and eye strain, especially for users who spend hours in email daily.
Please restore the previous font or provide user controls for font family and UI text size. Removing these options significantly degrades the user experience.
I am actively considering switching email providers because of this change.

Reinstate the option to switch back to the classic calendar view. The colors on the new calendar view are garrish and TOO DARK! Also, I'd like to see a couple more colors added for "My Clanedars." I belong to several organizations and it would be helpful to keep them in their own categories using the colors in the "My Calendar" option.

Your weather location software sucks! I'm currently in Elmhurst, Illinois but weather is for Ashburn. Doesn't have what state - VA? GA? When I click on it, it says my current location is Milltown! When I click on Milltown to open Maps, it takes me to Milltown, NJ! But your url says Milltown, Wisconsin! WTF! Why not just make your homepage customizable or at least let me set my current location!

The new layout stinks. Thanks for giving me another reason (along with the useless irrelevant articles) to avoid using Yahoo. As soon as I migrate my email accounts I won't be back.
