Just letting you know that I am disturbed by some hate speech and threatening speech towards our President that Yahoo does not seem inclined tto address. I have reported it 3 times in the last couple days. You seem to believe it is not hate speech. FYI I have taken screen shots of the speech and other comments that Yahoo feels is acceptableable, and I am sending them to my state and local representatives.

READ THE COMMENTS... Full of people celebrating death. Laughing and loving it... How does this not seem like an evil cesspool? EVERY ARTICLE IS FULL OF HATEFUL AND DARK COMMENTS. Look at them all and I doubt you'll count more than 2 or 3 positive comments TOTAL... End the hate. Please.

Hi! For years, Yahoo has always been my main source of news and my go-to website every morning to find out what's happening in the world. Up until a few months ago, the message boards were very active and we would receive an email notification when someone liked or commented on our posting, or when someone responded to our reply on theirs. It was fun, interactive, and I liked chatting with people from all over the U.S. So my question is, why on earth did you take that feature away? Why do we no longer get notified?!!! It now seems pointless to comment on people's posts because I'll never know if they responded. Similarly, when I post something, it seems pointless because there's absolutely no way I can track which articles I post comments on. Before, I would read a cool article on here, post my comment, and then I would get an email notification of the replies! I would then click on the link in my email and it would lead me to the response and I could reply, and we'd have great conversations! Again, why on earth did you take that feature away?!!!!!
I find that I'm not coming on to Yahoo as much, and I am not bothering to respond to people's postings because they'll never see it and I rarely comment myself because I'll never know if someone responded because I have no way of knowing or tracking it! Also, I believe that Yahoo gets revenue from ads, yes? And companies are more likely to advertise if you have millions of unique visitors every month/week/day? So, by taking away the comments email alert feature, you have far fewer users and far fewer people coming on here!!!! That means that you have fewer advertisers willing to pay, yes? Why would you not want to maximize your number of unique visitors every day? Before, I was coming on Yahoo multiple times a day and responding to LOTS of postings. Now, the message boards are not fun. :'(
Can you PLEASE bring back the feature that allows us to be notified by email if someone responded to our posting? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! The comments were so much fun before - you have way fewer users now. Bring it back, please!!! Let us have our fun!!!! Thank you for listening. :)

When you block a posting you really should tell the people EXACTLY why you are blocking it, not some generic 'it violates guidelines'. Just how is someone suppose to 'correct' a posting if we don't know exactly how it violates your rules?
Please respond.

As I try to comment on a news artical it tell me to login or sign up which I already am. By clicking on either one it sends me back to the top of the artical then scrolls back to where i was at. Does nothing.

When I try to post on Yahoo News, the submit (blue) tab says sign up to post. I am signed up. This has been the case for 2-3 weeks. I have emptied cache and changed password. I called customer service and was directed here. Please advise.

It seems to me that you permit left-leaning comments to demean and attack the other side. Yet, the most innocent replies by the other side are rejected instantaneously. Yahoo is NOT open to fair debate. You say you don't sensor. That is a lie. I've been on Yahoo since almost it's inception. Your platform is bias and disgusting. You shortchange yourself by catering to the left. We spend money too.

The main reason I come to Yahoo is for the comments. Now they won't show in either Opera browser or Chrome and I've turned off all of my tracking/ad blockers, even on my antivirus. Never a problem before. I guess I won't be coming to Yahoo much anymore because of this. Oh well, Yahoo. Too bad. Us consumers are getting more and more ticked off every time you do things like this.
