Remove or allow users to hide “paid for” articles by media companies like Motley Fool who produce articles that promote their own holdings.
Motley Fool and article generating companies like them promote the stocks they themselves own and/or disparage companies competing stocks in the guise of “news”. Users should be able to hide their advertisements.

Persistent Promotional Pop-up
ENOUGH!!! For the last month and a half I have been plagued by your promotional pop-ups pushing your added services to Yahoo finance. I've have been a yahoo user, including mail, since the early 90's and have never seen such obnoxious intrusion on Yahoo. There is no way to stop it other than go to Market Watch or even Google. If this doesn't stop soon. So long! STOP IT!!!

please limit or remove the "Paid PR by lawyers doing Investigations" on stocks
Several "law firms" are being used to change investor sentiment...They used "news wire, global news and other Paid PR services to constantly advertise for clients - and drown out REAL news on certain stocks. See CYDY for a good example.

Fraud ads
For the sake of the trust of serious information about investments Yahoo Finance should have a harder control of the advertisers and the ads they show. This kind of fraud attempt should be banned. In magazines the publisher is responsible for the content in against the readers. It shout be the same on the web. These adverts gives the impression that Yahoo don't care. I use Yahoo Finance to get tips on investments. Therefore I would want to believe that Yahoo only want to show information from trusted sources. Unfortunately, those ads makes me doubt that.

Please move frivolous lawsuit posts from Stock pages
Place lawsuits in a different area. I own a stock that is being spammed to death by frivolous class action enquiries. There should be a point where these are moved somewhere else. I has been going on for almost two months.

don't allow slideshow ad content
if your revenue model is tied to advertising, then you should not allow advertisers to post ads that are presented in a slideshow format. no one, and I mean NO ONE likes that format and a simple bit of internet research will reveal that everyone hates it. and by virtue of association, their opinion of you (Yahoo) isn't great either. you should focus on improving your relationship with your content consumers...

You should consider disabling video ads for Premium users.

Get rid of all the lawyer ads promoting class action lawsuits.
I am frustrated by all the BS lawyer ads promoting class action lawsuits. These are ambulance chasers, basically. Can you get rid of them!? I'm sure you make money on those - can you tell me how to cut through them? I looked up Workhorse (WKHS) and it was at least 10 screens of the Rosen lawfirm and other lawyers soliciting plaintiffs. Do you want actual news to be drowned out by these ads?
