stop upgrading the site. just stop. or you wont have to worry about it because all the eyeballs will go to another website to get their information. The portfolio portion works just fine the way it is leave it alone.

  7. Feed my response below. It Ani't Broke, so stop trying to get cute, to fix it.

As a older retired personal financial self planner, I have been using YAHOO, for awhile now. I find that the present Yahoo Finance MEETS MY NEEDS. No fancy charts, or graphs, or table, etc..That I DON"T NEED,OR WANT. Just PLAIN, and SIMPLE. I put in symbols in, I build a watch list, and your system shows me all I need. What has happened here, is ONE MORE TIME, a bunch of computer Geeks, get involved, and start screwing things up, TRYING TO BE CUTE. Leave what you have ALONE. Whatever happened to COMMON SENSE??? IT WASN'T BROKE, SO DON'T TRY…

  8. Portfolio 2.0 stinks

The old system was fine; used it for years. The Portfolio 2.0 has some 'neat' features but it's not worth the lost functionality in the old one, specifically the ability to edit individual fields in the data as the user might want, not limited to your ideas of what might be useful. I've already deleted all mine and will move on to something else.

  9. Go Back To Portfolio 1.0!

The “old” Portfolio was my go-to multiple times a day. I could see how my stocks were doing, sort by $ &/or % up & down, click on a stock to see important news impacting it. Portfolio 2.0 removes ALL of that! Other than making the stock symbol pretty, I’m at a complete loss regarding what the improvements are supposed to be. I tried to go back to the “old” Portfolio but I can’t. I’m currently searching for an alternative. If this format changes, please email me. I doubt I’ll be using this anymore.

  11. Blow up the new 2.0 and allow older format

New 2.0 is a useless disaster. I get cash dividends and like to lower my cost basis as received. There is now way to do that now! This is an awful "Upgrade"!

  12. Please keep the classic version of charts.

The new charts really suck. I like the green/red fill area charts so much better. And it's especially better when you're taking screenshots of the classic charts to share!!!!!

  13. Yahoo Finance advanced charting overhaul is generally worse than the previous round

Yahoo Finance advanced charting overhaul is generally worse than the previous round. Why do the left and right panels auto open and cover 2/3 of the charting space?

  14. Who is in charge of Yahoo finance?

Will someone at Yahoo finance realize that investors don't care how pretty a page looks. Function is the most important thing in finance pages.
IF I CAN'T ACCESS THE INFORMATION i NEED i WILL USE SOMETHING DIFFERENT. Tell that to your advertisers.

  16. I don't like Portfolio 2.0

From the "Summary" page of a Portfolio 2.0, if you click on a ticker symbol it doesn't open a page containing the charts of the stock but instead similar stocks are listed. This has to be an error.
