    Our posts get randomly deleted or not posted at all in finance conversations. No reason at all, no cursing, no reason.

    Hello,

    The Portfolio Summary uses currency of the default Portfolio of the User. For example, if its reporting in $US then most probably that is the currency of your default portfolio.

    Unfortunately, there is no ‘good’ way of finding the default portfolio. But the default portfolio would not have a “Delete Portfolio” option.

  4. Can't email support

    OMG pulling my hair out. Now the 'contact us' does not even work. Went here as directed; https://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index?page=recommended&locale=en_US&y=PROD_FIN
    Try to send an email to a support specialist. Fill in all the blanks, answer the captcha, hit send. Get the error ‘Entered YID should match with signed in YID ‘. Since Yahoo helpfully? filled in my Yahoo id for me, and made the box grey for me so I can’t change it, now its not matching.

    I didn’t enter the YID, yahoo did. Thanks for nothing.

  6. YTD in performance tab of mutual fund quote shows incorrect value

    I know this looks like a duplicate bug, but please keep reading.

    Today is Feb 4, 2019 and yet, the YTD value for VTSAX is equal to the 1-Year value. Shouldn't it be closer/equal to the 1-month trailing return? This happens for all of the mutual funds I've been looking at.

  7. Telus (T.TO) often shows wrong market value in portfolio

    I have Telus (T.TO) stock in one of my portfolios, and the market value shown is often incorrect, which also affects the total value of the portfolio. Usually the market value is much smaller than it should be, today it's quite a bit larger. I can send a screenshot if permitted.

    Hi,
    Some tickers on ASX are showing incomplete or completely missing historical data:
    VEU.AX, VTS.AX (since 13 Sep 2018)
    RBTZ.AX (no data at all)
    VCX.AX (since 15 Oct 2018)
    Could you look into why please?

  9. Error message about Adobe Flash

    Yahoo Finance the videos are showing a message that we need the latest Adobe Flash Player to view them. My computer already has Adobe Flash 32.0.0.114 which is the latest per the Adobe web site. Please get these incompetent programmers to fix the issue. Also Yahoo should be advised that Adobe Flash will be discontinued by the end of 2020 .. So your video creators should start moving things over to the current method of HTML5 ... Also there is a link to get the new Adobe Flash on the video screen, but being wary about clicking on it as…

  13. Finance Screener

    Format bug.
    Mutual fund screener.
    Someone forgot to add a carriage return after the initial statement, and before the tab.
    All the screening results end up on the right hand side of the screen.

    Header statement.
    "Matching Mutual Funds1-25 of 2434 results

    Results were generated a few mins ago. Pricing data is updated frequently. Currency in USD"

  16. Can not set "Trade Date" on stocks added after 12-31-18

    This is very frustrating

    I have been a very heavy user of YahooFinance! for 20-years

    Just discovered that all of my stock lots added
    after 12-31-18
    are being saved as mm/dd/yyyy

    Obviously using "My Holdings" to set the date

    Have tried all possible ways to set the date.

    I see the activity icon spinning after setting the date
    with a "saved" message quickly flashed

  17. Internet troll named Ace.

    Internet TROLL named Ace. has taken over Yahoo's Rite Aid (RAD) finance page, using multiple FAKE Id's to give itself multiple FAKE THUMBS up, to place itself at the top of the list, while spreading FAKE NEWS, and suppressing any meaningful conversation on the discussion board. Why do Yahoo allow this illegal stock price manipulation (for person gain) to continue? Muting this troll does not solve the problem, it just allows this illegal activity to continue.

    I followed your instructions sent to fix the problem - thanks, but no change.

    On your Portfolio page, only past 12 hours of news headlines are downloading. Prior to that it's blank. Should be continuous download as before. Thanks.
