In the “My Holdings” column on the left side of the home screen, I’d also love to see the actual cost of the investments I’ve made. If I can only see my overall balance, it could be quite misleading.

  5. Good Evening, on the stream where you show the DOW, NAS, S&P etc you show currencies of EU, Great Britain, Japan

Good Evening, on the Yahoo front page you stream the current numbers for the DOW, NAS, S&P, and the currencies of Great Britain, Japan, Euro, yet you don't show the current rate for the Canadian Dollar, WHY? Canada after all is USA's either first or second largest trading partner with over a BILLION Dollars a day in trade between the two countries.

  8. Show a 50-Day Moving Average Volume line over chart's volume bars

Place a 50-Day Moving Average Volume line over the chart's volume bars shown under the price chart. When viewing a daily chart, the line would represent a 50-day moving average volume level, and on a weekly chart the line would represent a 10-week moving average volume level. This allows a quick visual on the significance of a time period's price move based on volume being above or below recent volume. Investor’s Business Daily includes this on all their charts and it is very useful in spotting accumulation and distribution of a stock.

  11. Portfolio Backtesting

A little known feature for Google Finance was that if you clicked into a portfolio, it automatically generated a historical price chart for the portfolio based on an equal weighted investment in each of the securities in the list. You could compare it to major indexes as well. Would be a really nice feature to add to the watchlists.

  15. "Yield On Cost" YOC

There already is an average cost calculation done for the lots of stock held, why not add a simple 'Yield On Cost (YOC)' calculation to help us longer term investors see how well our long term position in hold for high dividends are doing? A more complicated calculation would be Annualized Yield on Cost or AYOC, giving us a better measurement of how our long position is doing. Then to further combine this we would add/subtract our annualized gain/loss cost return on Equity to our AYOC to get a Net ROE including Dividend Yields. It may not be perfect as…

  16. Please maintain my Yahoo portfolio in alphabetical order as I add holdings. It would allow a much quicker portfolio review than currently!

You currently do not have a settings option available to put ones financial portfolio in alphabetical order. Currently as new holdings are added it take much too long to locate a specific holding to see how it is performing and whether to buy more positions. When you first created your new format all the holdings were in alphabetical order, which was so much more helpful when doing a portfolio review. After time and new holdings were added the ease for specific holding search is wasting too much of my time. Thank you!

  19. Dividend Adjustment Charting --- Mutual Fund - ETF.

Mutual Fund and ETF charting SHOULD be adjusted for Dividend Pay Outs, to reflect TOTAL RETURN. Total Return equals Price (N.A.V) plus Dividend Payouts. Charts / Graphs without "TOTAL RETURN" are incorrect and USELESS.
