When I click on Income Statement, Balance Sheet or Cash Flow it's because I want to see the whole thing. One of the reasons that the Canadian Yahoo Finance site was better than the US Version was that I didn't have to click "Expand All" every time I went on those pages on the Canadian Version. If I forget to click the "Expand All", I can miss something. What you should do is present the view that corresponds to the "Expand All" by default and for the few people who don't want to see all of the info, offer a "Contract All" option. As I visit the Income, Balance and Cashflow statements when I look at a stock, that's 3 useless clicks that I have to do with the new version.
