The new portfolio view is terrible. Now I have to scroll left/right to see all my columns whereas before I could all columns on one screen.

The right window cannot be removed on my portfolios is really is a huge inconvenience. Of all the things in the new website this is the most agravating feature loss to the previous version. Not being able to see the portfolios vertical colunms to the right of the window size and having to go to the bottom of the page is just not functional for me. This should be a top priority issue to resolve.

I'm Canadian. Since you have changed the portfolio format, when I click on the link of my main portfolio (or any others), it brings me back to the main page of Yahoo in Canada, not to the financial section or to the portfolio that I want to see. This error happens 2 out of 3 times, especially between 9:30 and 10:00 in the morning. Yahoo Finance was the site where I was spending the most time because of the quality of the portfolio format, please, bring back the old format, it was a winner!

Since somebody had the brilliant idea of changing what was a perfect portfolio format, the website is crashing constantly. Please bring back the old format, you have ruined a perfect product!

Agree with all of the negative comments. I have been using Yahoo to track my stocks for almost 20 years. The new side bar and the slow response times make this product practically unusable. Does anyone know of a better product I can move to?

I totally agree. This new version does not satisfy my personal needs.

New view is good for looking at a single stock. But, is terrible when looking my portfolio. Can Yahoo make an option for us to collapse the right side view in the portfolio view so we can see more columns in the portfolio view? Or go back to old view.

Yep I already suggested giving the option of hiding/moving the quote lookup and market toolbar to yahoo customer service so that the watchlist can take up the whole space across the screen and be back to normal. Nothing has changed.

Let us hide the right panel so we can see more columns

If the user-defined view includes the company name and the portfolio contains just one ticker with a long name, there is no room to display all the other information without scrolling horizontally. The right side bar is a major intrusion. You should be able to hide it.
As well, you should provide a short company name of less than 20 characters.
Also, why is the text for company name right-justified? Please left-justify it with a feature to truncate it based on a user-specified length.
Finally, the price field on the old website was bold which made it distinguishable from other numeric fields at a glance. Now it is very difficult to identify which field is the price especially when the column headings are scrolled off the page.
Making small practical improvements is far more beneficial to users than making major overhauls for the sake of making things look different and ultimately unusable. That's exactly what you have rolled out now

Agreed, this is looking horrible now. I can't take in all the information I need to see in one screen. It looked better in 1997 when Yahoo Finance launched than it does now. I feel like I am looking through a periscope or keyhole...

The one-page visual was wonderful.
Why force a sidebar that is merely a rehash of info that is available on another tab
If you must, why not have that as an option or at least it minimizableWhy the tiny charts with even smaller numbers for daily & 52-week ranges
Producing the numbers only is more readable & takes 1/2 the space
Once again, make this an option - as it was before.
