Customizing MyPortfolio homepage
I get that someone decides which improvements people have probably asked for, but why not allow clients/customers/users to self-generate their own homepage for their portfolios rather than arbitrarily changing the layout which may not actually suit individual preferences?
The current layout requires scrolling no matter the screen size dimensions. I use three different monitors, including a 43" Smart TV, and all I get is a larger font to look at and a lot of dead white space all around.
Could your wonderful and intelligent designers come up with a better mechanism to cater to our specific needs for customized views and taking advantage of viewing real estate? Additionally the "non-compressed" view of rows has disappeared and just adds to the extra and unneeded whitespace.
Some of these updates are acceptable, and like others, I do see value with the older design which evolved from previous layouts in the past. Yes, we get used to them and we manage with the limitations we are able to control, but please, allow some user customization that makes sense!
