Old mail
I have just logged into my Yahoo account for the first time in a long time. All my old emails are gone. I want them back!
If you did not sign into your account within 12 months the account is deactivated. Unfortunately, you will not be able to reactivate it or re-create the same email address. You can always sign up for a new Yahoo account.

new folder
I can't see how to create a new folder. This seems very basic, and should not be this difficult.
You can create a new folder from the Folders list using the “New Folder” option at the top of the list. Once it’s created, you should be able to move emails there with eh “Move” button.

It’s best to mark these emails as Not Spam to keep them from going into the Spam folder in the future. You can also double-check your Mail settings and Spam folder to make sure everything looks good there.

In the old email I created "Purchases" file and deleted them when I received the products. New email will not allow me to delete these emai
New email will not allow me to delete (no check boxes) emails I placed
in a "Purchases" folder. I normally would delete these emails when
the products arrived. What the heck have you done???????????????“Purchase” view isn’t a folder, it’s just a saved search of emails in the mailbox, therefore, you will have to delete the email from the Inbox.

failed renaming folder
I cannot rename a folder. It has no sub-folders. Each time I try, it gives me a message "failed renaming folder" but does not tell me WHY it failed. (This option is critical because I insert a digit before my folder names to control the sequence. I am no longer using folder "3 Xxxxx", but it is blocking a more frequently used folder since I cannot rename it.)

To create a new folder, please click the ’’+’’ icon in front of the New Folder.

Why is there a Folder called "Suspension" in our list of Folders, and what purpose does it serves?
That folder isn’t a part of Yahoo Mail. It may have been created by you or synced from another device or app that accesses the mailbox.

You should add the option on Yahoo! Mail to report phishing scams like they have on microsoft hotmail!
You should add the option on Yahoo! Mail to report phishing scams like they have on microsoft hotmail! They have the option on there to report phishing scams in the junk mail folder. You should add the option to report phishing scams in the spam folder on Yahoo! Mail!

I need to be able to save some of my emails to folders while cleaning out my mailboxes but they don't transfer.
Allow me to move my correspondence to the folders I have created so that my inbox isn't full. When I move them they aren't transferring and my inbox is full. If I delete them from the inbox, they are completely gone, not filed in the folder.

Delete multiple messages in the trash
To delete all emails in the Trash, select the box from the top and then click Delete.
To delete multiple consecutive emails:
1. In your Mailbox window, press and hold the Shift key on your keyboard, and then click the first email that you wish to delete.
2. Now, hold the Shift key down, and click the last email in the list. This will select all the emails between the first email and the last email that you have selected.
3. Click Delete.

spam folder being emptied too soon
Spam folder is being emptied before getting a chance to check it for needed messages. How do I stop this?

Our team is currently working with Apple to sort this issue out. Since February, the iOS Notes app had not been sending requests to our server to backup the notes. As a result, we don’t have records of them on our end to restore. We’re hoping to find an answer soon.

Can't create new folder
I don't see how to create a new folder when moving an email. This used to be an option on the pulldown menu that showed when I clicked on "Move". It should still be there.

sent emails not showing
I have a sent email that isn't showing in the sent folder. I also noticed there is no way to move a folder that I've created. I tried dragging and dropping and nothing happened. Clicking on the drop down for the folder doesn't give an option to move it. Both issues need to be fixed as I don't think there is anyone would define these as working as expected.

At this time, you can’t move folders. You can delete or archive all the emails in a folder using the arrow next to the folder name.
