  1. sent emails not showing

    I have a sent email that isn't showing in the sent folder. I also noticed there is no way to move a folder that I've created. I tried dragging and dropping and nothing happened. Clicking on the drop down for the folder doesn't give an option to move it. Both issues need to be fixed as I don't think there is anyone would define these as working as expected.

  2. restore emails to send box

    Would you please make it possible to restore emails to the Sent box? Sometimes I accidentally delete ones from Sent. It's frustrating that, even if I can recover them, I lose the original recipient and location of them. Also, would you add a "Are you sure you want to delete emails from your Sent box"? I recently thought I'd selected my Trash folder, but instead 100 emails got deleted from my Sent box.

    If emails were deleted from the Sent folder directly, then they may be able to be restored right back to that folder. However, if they were deleted (put into Trash) and then restored, they may be in the Trash folder and can’t be moved back to the Sent folder.

    Using the Advanced search (small arrow to the right of the Search bar) you can select “Trash” from the “Search in” list to look for messages in the Trash folder.

  4. New mail boxes are horrible!

    I routinely use multiple different folders to save emails, and create sub folders up to 2 and 3 deep. The new functions are completely jacked up and keep making it a HUGE headache. I even tried to start a whole new thread thinking that would help. I usually have filters set up so that emails go straight to these boxes, but the new format would let me set up filters because the thread name was too long. I changed to main box to a shorter name, and it created a whole new thread, leaving all of my 2nd tiers on…

  5. Your "Block Sender" does not work. To add "Block Filter" does not work either. Please improve on it. Spam is annoying!

    Congrats! Expiring soon is a spam that comes into my mail disguise in many forms. Unable to get rid of it. Your "Block Sender" does not work.

    If an email is slated as Spam when it hits our servers, it will go there before being affected by any filters on the account. Our Spam filter takes precedence over everything else. If these emails are going into your inbox even after being blocked, please let us know on our Help pages or our forums:

  6. filters no longer work

    i have used filters to sort incoming email since i started using yahoo. they worked FINE until the latest version updates and now NOTHING seems to work on any of them....this was a great feature that needs to be fixed in this new version.

    Filters work on a system of precedence: filters higher on the list will overrule those lower. Also keep in mind that our Spam filters take precedence over any other filter or setting on the account. This means that if an emails is determined to be Spam, it will go straight there without being affected by any filter(s) on the account.

    To create a new folder, you can select the “New Folder” text under the “Folders” section along the left side of Yahoo Mail. Just make sure that this section isn’t hidden; click on the “Show” button next to “Folders” if it is.

  10. quit auto-deleting emails

    Stop autodeleting emails after a certain amount of days - keep them ALL until I DELETE THEM. I keep emails for certain things and they can be over 1 month old. I try to restore my mail and nothing comes back. Now I lost a ton of items that I really NEEDED!

  12. Sent emails are not updating in my browser when they are sent from the same account on my smartphone

    Sent emails are not updating in my browser when they are sent from the same account on my smartphone. The sent folder in my web browser (chrome) is not updating the sent message folder. I sent an email from my smartphone, the browser's sent folder does not reflect this and logging out and back in to my account did not fix the issue.

  13. Stop moving my mail into Views

    Stop moving my email and/or attachments into the View folders. I don't want them. Every time I "Hide" them, they come back. I couldn't find my receipts from Amazon until I looked in Purchases and there were my missing receipts. They should have stayed in my Inbox until I moved them myself to where I wanted them. Or a filter I created moved them. I should have the option of whether I want to use "Views" or not.

    The Views in Yahoo Mail aren’t folders. They’re actually saved searches that pull up different emails based on their content. Thus, the only way to move emails out of them, is to delete the email itself.

    You’ll need to create a new folder before you’re able to move one over. Check out the “New folder” option under the Folders list on the left.

  16. When I move mails from "sent" folder to some other folder, all the messages show "me" as sender. I want to see to whom I had sent the mail.

    I should have the option of displaying both "From" and "To" info.
    When I move sent items to some other folder, all emails only show sender (me). If I have the option to enable "to" also them it will be very easy for me to go thru the folder and search required email.

  18. Quit removing MY mail from my trash bin. It's MY MAIL, LEAVE IT ALONE. Empty the freaking spam folder instead

    Empty SPAM folder, NOT MY TRASH!! It's MY mail and will delete when I want!!!! Have over 700 in spam and you delete a 20 from my trash. Is there anyone there with half a brain!!!

    If you scroll down a long way in the Archive folder and then use the top-most checkbox to select all (or using CTRL+A), you can move more at a time.

  20. sent emails don't show in sent folder in default sort

    it's not an idea. my sent emails used to show up when I clicked "sent" now i get "NO MAIL". if i click on the sort to oldest first, all emails show up except yesterday's. I can see all of them in the correct order on my iPad, my smart phone, but not on the PC. I'm missing in the reverse sort, oldest first, those after 6:00pm on April 9th. I sent many emails yesterday and this morning, but I get temp error: 15, and clicking for help does absolutely nothing. Yahoo has the worst help system, to be fair,…
