  1. In the old email I created "Purchases" file and deleted them when I received the products. New email will not allow me to delete these emai

    New email will not allow me to delete (no check boxes) emails I placed
    in a "Purchases" folder. I normally would delete these emails when
    the products arrived. What the heck have you done???????????????

    “Purchase” view isn’t a folder, it’s just a saved search of emails in the mailbox, therefore, you will have to delete the email from the Inbox.

  3. failed renaming folder

    I cannot rename a folder. It has no sub-folders. Each time I try, it gives me a message "failed renaming folder" but does not tell me WHY it failed. (This option is critical because I insert a digit before my folder names to control the sequence. I am no longer using folder "3 Xxxxx", but it is blocking a more frequently used folder since I cannot rename it.)

    That folder isn’t a part of Yahoo Mail. It may have been created by you or synced from another device or app that accesses the mailbox.

  5. I need to be able to save some of my emails to folders while cleaning out my mailboxes but they don't transfer.

    Allow me to move my correspondence to the folders I have created so that my inbox isn't full. When I move them they aren't transferring and my inbox is full. If I delete them from the inbox, they are completely gone, not filed in the folder.

    To delete all emails in the Trash, select the box from the top and then click Delete.

    To delete multiple consecutive emails:

    1. In your Mailbox window, press and hold the Shift key on your keyboard, and then click the first email that you wish to delete.

    2. Now, hold the Shift key down, and click the last email in the list. This will select all the emails between the first email and the last email that you have selected.

    3. Click Delete.

  7. I do not want your save my purchases

    Get rid of purchases folder , I did not approve saving my purchases in this folder or any, its a intruding my privacy I did not give you permission to save

  8. spam folder being emptied too soon

    Spam folder is being emptied before getting a chance to check it for needed messages. How do I stop this?

  9. Stop moving my mail into Views

    Stop moving my email and/or attachments into the View folders. I don't want them. Every time I "Hide" them, they come back. I couldn't find my receipts from Amazon until I looked in Purchases and there were my missing receipts. They should have stayed in my Inbox until I moved them myself to where I wanted them. Or a filter I created moved them. I should have the option of whether I want to use "Views" or not.

    The Views in Yahoo Mail aren’t folders. They’re actually saved searches that pull up different emails based on their content. Thus, the only way to move emails out of them, is to delete the email itself.

  10. Quit removing MY mail from my trash bin. It's MY MAIL, LEAVE IT ALONE. Empty the freaking spam folder instead

    Empty SPAM folder, NOT MY TRASH!! It's MY mail and will delete when I want!!!! Have over 700 in spam and you delete a 20 from my trash. Is there anyone there with half a brain!!!

  11. Emails not moving to specific folder, even if manually moved, again it appearing in Inbox.

    There should be specific rules to apply for frequent receiving emails to transfer to designated folders.
